PLEASE HELP, IM SO SCARED!

Hi everyone please can someone put my mind t ease......Im now 5 days late on my period, have been doing tests all week but got a faint positive yesterday, we were thrilled! Thought Id do a test this morning to see if the line was darker this time but it was neg! Im so so scared, I havent had any pains or bleeding. Do you think Im still pregnant and maybe the hormone levels are still low and werent detected? Im too scared to tell dh as hed be upset and worryed and dont want to go to dr as Im scared of what theyll say.....please help!

They do say that there is no such thing as a false positive, meaning that you must be pregnant if there was even the faintest positive line. If you did a test this morning and there was no line, check that it was a test that does 4 days early, as your HcG surge may not be enough to make a positive just yet. You may have to wait a while to be certain though.

Which test did you use? Clear Blue is very accurate, might be worth popping out and getting a Clear blue to double check. Make sure you wee on it for 5 seconds.

Do it first thing in the morning when urine is most concentrated. Even though the package might say you can do it any time of day, that's only true later on.

The mad thing is it was a clearblue with 'first morning wee' that was neg! The 2 lines showed up on the daytime wee with a cheaper test! Tested again today with the cheap test and there was a 2nd faint line again (phew) I just couldnt wait! got 1 left to retest ina few days though, thankyou everyone!xxx

Shoneshine, try to be patient. I tested negative on cd44 in July but then positive on cd58!

Shoneshine perhaps you didnt wee long enough on the clear blue one. Could be why it didnt work. Good luck, im sure evrything is fine.
