Please say it's not only me. I have been crying my eyes out because I'm just sick to death of being pregnant now. I can't get comfortable, I'm up every hour of the night, I'm restless, im getting shocking sciatic pains and walking is just uncomfortable. I feel like a bad mum to my kids because I'm struggling with everything. Baby feels SO HEAVY I just need him out!!

Sorry for going on just want to know I'm not alone in feeling like this Sad

You’re not alone. I’m currently 40+5 and desperate for him to come out. My first baby was out on her due date so this is a real drag! Not allowed a sweep until 41 weeksand there are no signs of him wanting to come out sooner.
I’m so grateful to be pregnant and have my babies but I am seriously fed up of throwing up every night, not sleeping more than two hours a night due to heartburn and hardly being able to move. My fundal height is measuring 44 weeks at 40 weeks!
We shall have our babies soon, when they are ready. Hugs!

I am also 38 weeks and literally just stopped sobbing to my husband.

I have such bad heart burn I’m not getting more than 4 broken hours sleep per night. I have terrible constipation too. Hands and feet are also swollen and I think I have carpel tunnel too.

It must be so hard feeling like this with other children to look after! This is my first so I can just sit and feel sorry for myself without any guilt at least.

I am being induced at 39 weeks as baby is measuring big (6 days to go), so I am thankful the end is in sight but would welcome it any time.

In the same boat at 39 weeks 🙋🏼‍♀️

it's so frustrating because we're so close and I'm sick of people telling me to just relax and enjoy this time because I'm in such physical pain with SPD, absolutely exhausted from broken sleep, heartburn is worse than ever ('it dies off towards the end' my arse!!)

I'm only 18 weeks preg but I cannot wait for this time - when I know baby is happy and healthy and we made it! Even at 18 weeks I'm still terrified of things going wrong and have the 24 week mark in my head as when I might feel more relaxed.

Really don't mean this to sound belittling at all as I know pregnancy is v hard (and ask me again when I'm 38 wks if I still feel the same 😂)

Best wishes for your births. We are so lucky! :)

And to be clear no one here should feel bad for any of these feelings btw!! I remember when we were TTC and seeing posts about people suffering from bad sickness early on and thinking "ohh I can't wait for that! Give me all the sickness and sore boobs (and a healthy baby)" 😂😂

Thank you for the responses Smile it's nice to know I'm not the only one who isn't on the 'ill miss my bump' bandwagon lol

I by no means take for granted I am close to having my gorgeous boy I feel blessed everyday for my life I just want my body back that's all.

Hope we all have our babies soon and everyone's goes as smooth as possible xx

38+2 here and fed up of BH! They are so painfull and draining when they come. Same up every half hour/hour through the night. Walking is excruciating and have to do it several times a day for school run. I have midwife on Thursday and I hope to god she gives me a sweep as at 37+4 he was est at 9lb 4 already. Let's hope we are not waiting too much longer 11 days to go!!

@2020babym every stage has its challenges... but it’s really hard when you are not very mobile & running on no sleep! I would say for me the anxiety has never left so all it combined does get you down.

It’s helpful to know that other people can relate and you’re not alone, as there is also guilt that comes with feeling like this & complaining when you’re hopefully about to have healthy baby!

@boymummy3 I've got a sweep on Friday and I CANNOT wait! I went into labour within 48 hours last time so really hoping for a repeat!

9lb 4!! OMG Shock last week (a little over last week) mine was estimated to be 6lb 2 so my heart completely goes out to you as I can't even imagine that weight!

@murph90 also very thankful for the fact I've not been the only cry baby tonight! My fiancé is away so he just gets this blubbery mess down the phone which I'm sure he's thankful for xx

I'm 35+4 and fed up of feeling so rubbish too. The heartburn is agony (my throat is raw!), I'm exhausted from being up every hour to pee, I can't get comfortable, rolling over is ridiculous. I feel guilty for moaning all day!

2020babym · 14/01/2020 21:09

@Murph90 completely agree! Which is forums like this are good to share our experiences!

I don't think my anxiety will leave me either unfortunately so just really trying to manage properly instead!

You're not alone. You've started me now lol...

I'm 36+2 and as much as I want it to stay & keep cooking, the last 2 days I've just felt broken. Before then I think I've been doing pretty good and had limited Moans. I'm still working (due to finish next fri 24th) but I just am having to take each day as it comes mentally otherwise I get really overwhelmed with how long I have left vs crumbling daily

Night- a few good hours then cue toilet trips and also dead legs (side of thighs from sleeping on them)

Days @ work - can't find a good seating position- forward and bump kills, back I get back ache by my bra line as well as chronic rib pain,

The few good houses I get is after I've cooked tea and chill before bed.

Feels like you go all night and day just to get to those blissful hours 🤣

Moan over -sorry

I've been so strong and happy all the way through but just don't know how I'm going to cope the next few weeks 😵

Oh the raw throat! I'm 38 weeks and my husband brought chips home as a treat... I cried because my throat is so sore from acid reflux that I can't even contemplate eating anything fatty!

My toddler has been climbing all over me today, he's too young to understand anything and I'm too tired to play with him so I feel like a dreadful parent. My nerves are frayed because I'm so hormonal, I got cross at him so many times today when he really wasn't being that bad, but I have no patience left. There isn't a bit of me that's not sore, especially my ribs where the baby is jamming her feet as hard as she can, and previous section scar that I keep imagining will just burst open like in Alien.

I'm lucky though because I've got an ELCS scheduled for a week tomorrow, although I'm also really apprehensive about the recovery and know it'll be weeks before I can feel like an actual human again. I remember the terrible feeling of waiting for labour to start last time though, went a week overdue and was pretty desperate by the end.

I really am looking forward to meeting this baby, but I'm feeling so sorry for myself right now that I can't think past my discomfort very easily, I hope we all get our babies out safely soon.

Nearly 39 weeks here. Have been crying my eyes out and completely hysterical the whole day. Sleeeping 2-3 hours a night, throwing up, heartburn, constipation, restless legs. Etc etc etc. Today I reached another level of despair and was completely hysterically crying all day. It's been fun. Good luck everyone. Not long to go.

35+4 here and I've been totally over being pregnant for weeks but today has been the worst! I'm in agony with pain around my ribs and really intense pressure lower down. Heartburn is insanely painful and I can't remember the last time I had a decent sleep. I can't wait for this to be over - I for one will definitely not miss this!

Absolutely sick to the back teeth with pregnancy. 37 weeks and can't wait for it to be over. I'm sure I'll feel better when I finish work but all I do is eat and cry. If I hear one more person say how much they loved being pregnant I'm going to scream, what's to love the lack of sleep the constant pains or being a hormonal sweaty mess. Gimme my baby already

God I’m 12 weeks and over it already - hyperemesis, fatigue and constipation for 2 months has finished me off.
Not looking forwards to giant bump, insomnia and heart burn to add to the mix 😭
Not long now guys, hang in there you’ve nearly got your new baby and all this will be a distant memory!
