If this one sticks it will be number 6 and I’m 41! I’m so desperate for it to pan out. Lost my mum last year and feeling very flat

Congratulations! I was my mum's No. 5, and she was 38 when she had me. All I can say is I've always loved being youngest in a big family! 😁

I'm 41 and just on my second. Yes you have extra growth scans at 28,32 and 36 weeks. But to be honest they just freak me out. My baby has a massive head and nearly as massive abdomen and I'm freaking out he has some kind of abnormality. If I didn't have the growth scans I'd be none the wiser- though I do realise that they can also flag any issues up.

I had a couple more scans. Was also breech until just before she date. I also had to self inject blood thinners. And it was the first time I'd ever had a consultant.. but had my 5th home birth with no issues.

45 and on my 5th. If anything they see you less and worry less!

I'm 35 weeks, had 4 midwife appointments and 3 scans/ consultant appointments.

Final growth scan is at 37 weeks.

Good luck ❤️

Ok 38 and expecting number 6 due 20th July, worrying like mad as this will be my first rainbow baby since losing one last year, is anybody else having to take aspirin daily? And also will be put on injections from 28 weeks ?? The higher risks scare me I think and also my last born was prem by emergency c section! X

I'm not an 'older mum's I'm only 28 but almost 9 weeks with my 5the also 🙈😂

I'm 43 and pregnant with baby 1 (after rather a lot of fertility treatment). I get extra scans but those are more because I have some fibroids they want to keep an eye on.

@loopylou2791 big gap between mine lol x

I’m 38 and pregnant with number 5. Probably more anxious this pregnancy than any of the others.

Hi all, I seem to have found my people!
I have just turned 44 and expecting my 5th in June, also a rainbow baby after a loss last year. Super anxious this time so hoping I will get some extra checks. Midwife didn't really discuss this sort thing with me at my booking in appointment but I have my 16 week one Friday so will ask then.
I was told I would need to take aspirin and that they would give me the details at 12 week scan but there was no midwife there so they told me to ring my midwife but when I did she said they would tell me at my consultant appointment but I haven't had that through yet 🤔
