Have had very light but brown in colour and this morning it was watery and then dark brown the odd time. Getting scared and feeling extremely low at the momentSad
Called epu a few times this week and still keep on saying this is normal. Can't take much more😢

Hi bub19.

The exact same thing is happening to me today. I haven’t contacted the doctor yet as I experienced a missed miscarriage at around 11 weeks in September 2019 and I know that they won’t do a great deal at this stage.

I will be (or afternoon least I am supposed to be) 6 weeks pregnancy tomorrow.

Are you having any pain?

Fingers crossed everything is okay for you x

Hi. Nothing more than slight period cramps in lower tummy and back. But this has been going on since xmas day. I should be 7weeks.

Hi.

I have also had an intermittent lower back ache along with some pain in groins. Having googled that it sounded like pelvic girdle pain. I mentioned that to the GP the other day and they said it was neither normal or abnormal 😫

If the EPU won’t offer you a scan you could look to pay for one privately? I found a place who does and early reassurance scan for £70.

Thanks for the luck. Smile

If you have pain EPU should see you? I had brown watery bleeding from weeks 5-9 on and off with my daughter. I also had it when I had a MMC but that did eventually turn red. Good luck!

I had a lot of the nasty brown blood, very scary. My baby is now 21 and a big strapping chap

Yeah I was looking into that too. Also cost £70. x

I've contacted them 3 times. Each time I've been told this is "normal".

Thankyou 🙏x

I had brown spotting everyday from 4.5w to 8w. A couple of times it turned red. My Dr was never too concerned about it and couldn’t see a reason for it. I got the impression it’s more common than we think. I know it caused me a lot of anxiety though so I know how you feel.

I hope everything is going well. My anxiety levels are going through the roof. Don't think I can mentally handle much more.
I'm being extremely snappy,moody and emotional. Getting too much x

I think you should go to your GP or local walk in centre and insist on a referral to the EPU for a scan. Think you need to call 111 to get an appointment at a walk in centre. They can also do blood tests etc to check hormone levels. I think I will be doing that tomorrow if the discharge continues. X

I've been to Doctors a few times to. Getting the same answer unfortunately. So I'm sort of stuck in limbo. X

It'll be old implantation blood or period blood just making its way out now. If it's brown it's old and not a concern.
I bled brown blood heavily at 14 weeks and was terrified! But it's all good. 36 weeks along now and he's seemingly in very good health ❤️

@Engard

I really hope you’re right!!! I feel generally unwell but not sure if that’s because I can’t rest due to anxiety etc.

@bub19

If you haven’t called 111 yet that might be a good next step. They helped when I had the miscarriage in September.

It’s awful how alone you feel in relation to medical advice, up until having the booking in appointment.

That being said I had no follow up from the midwives following my previous miscarriage which was a little disappointing.

Xxx

I can see you've been to Dr with no luck. I would go again and say you've had more bleeding, pain and would like them to refer you for a scan as you are worried. I'v had brown blood 2/3 times. First time I was oblivious to the fact that EPUs were a thing and second time I was referred no questions asked.

I called nhs24, they were quite helpful and understanding and sent me to ante natal clinic on boxing day. That's were the helpfulness stopped at the Nhs 24. Not been to my booking appointment yet. Xxx

I've been this week already told the same yet again. My only option is to call NHS 24 again.x

@bub19

That’s awful 🙁

Are you resting? Last time I was told to rest and lots of people on various forums say they have been told the same thing.

I’m resting in bed with legs elevated and realise that this may be giving me a false sense of security with regard to there being less discharge.

Have you still got other pregnancy symptoms? My breasts are not as tender which I don’t think is a good sign 🙁

Try and stay positive. Xxx

Hope you're okay.
I've not been to the gym and cut my hours down at work. Not doing much around the house either. My boobs were only just starting to get slightly tender,so not sure on that. I usually don't get it full on til about 8 weeks. Xxx

If you choose to have a private scan to help out your mind at test, have a look on groupon and type in baby scan , they sometimes have cheaper deals on there for early scans so you may find something a bit cheaper than 70 xx
