Help! 😭

I came off the pill October. Took a period then I haven't taken a period for 53 days! I've taken pregnancy tests all negative!!

We are trying for a baby and this is all really getting to me!

Our first and it's all new to us. I have symptoms, I feel I could be pregnant then i take a test and it comes out negative, then I have symptoms and think oh maybe it's just my period as it's due then nothing!

I'm gonna have to go to docs 😔
Help anyone ? Xxxx

My cycles were like this. They had been very long before the pill... 12 years ago. It took us 20 months to conceive, but we did conceive naturally. I had 5 "normal" cycles just before we conceived, so I guess it just took a really long time for my body to stabilise. Not sure if it's relevant, but I was taking pregnacare vitamins for ~6 months beforehand; they may have contributed to my cycle balancing out.

PS. My cycles varied 28 days to 72.

When you come off the pill it may take your body a while to get back to normal and for you to start ovulating again and getting a normal cycle back.
Mine went back to normal straight away, but I have known many friends and work colleagues taken up to a year for your body to go back to how it was before you were on the pill.
Don't put too much stress on yourself, just get yourself an ovulation app and some CB ovulation sticks and keep track of what your cycle is doing and go from there.
Good luck 🥰🥰
