Title says it really lol, just wondering if anyone has experience of this and how long it might be til the main event?? Just called assessment and they've just said it's a waiting game and to keep an eye on things but I can't help get a bit excited! 😆😆

After I lost my muscles plug full blown labour started that evening. It’s different for everyone though. Good luck!

My waters went about 48hours late with DS2. Contractions about 24hrs after that.

I have started losing mine too yesterday and today!

Thanks @harrypotterfan1604 and @plipliop I've got all the family coming over for pre Xmas drinks & nibbles this afternoon so may be eventful ha😂 I'm getting cramps but not painful, more uncomfortable so may just be braxtons! Eeek exciting though, at least it's a start, fingers crossed!

I had DS about 12 hours after losing mine. Best of luck!

Yes lots of Brixtons here too!
Trying not to get too excited. Being induced on 23rd so would be really nice if baby made its own way out before then!

My DD arrived less than 24 hours after I lost mine, although mine was more of a bloody show :) contractions started around five hours before she arrived. Hope yours doesn't keep you waiting too long :)

I had a sweep around 5pm on a Thursday, lost mucous plug around 11pm Friday, waters broke around 12.30pm Sunday so a couple of days for me. I ended up being induced with the pessary on the Monday 24hrs after my waters broke as contractions didn’t start but everything happened quickly after that.

Hoping the lack of up date from OP is due to you being to busy delivering your baby to come and chat.

Aw I wish @PresidentBartlett 😕😕 Nothing more yet....few cramps yesterday but that's about it! Another sweep booked for tomorrow so hopefully that'll get him moving🤞🤞

Eeee the suspense lol! Aw @plipliop frustrating isn't it? Aw wow that is speedy @Namechanger23455 no she didn't give me a score, I'll ask her for one tomorrow though 👍

Well I've officially stopped getting excited now lol🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Another sweep this morning but still nothing except a few cramps😕 He clearly wants to hang on in there and make a big Xmas entrance ha 😂

Sorry you're still waiting. Though a big Christmas entrance would get you out of doing the Brussels sprouts this year so there's always an upside.

I had a sweep at 40+4 on Monday. She told me I was 80% effaced and 2cm dilated, very soft and baby very low. She mentioned something about 3cm but I didn't catch what (I'm assuming that's what she could stretch me to?)

Had two drops of red blood on a tissue straight after then what I assume was my plug a few hours after that. (TMI ALERT -It was gloopy thick brown & a bit stringy).

On Tuesday and today (Wednesday) I've had a bit more of what I assume is my plug. (Less thick and more like egg white cervical mucus around ovulatIon time but with a tinge of brown. Does that sound about right?)

I've had a general ache and sometimes a pressure down below, but I don't know if it's from walking around too much as baby is v low!

Only had tightenings/BH when walking my dogs or doing chores around the house. Nothing in the meantime.

I've had some crazy PMT symptoms tho. I haven't experienced anywhere near this in the last 9 months. But now I'm having massive mood swings, anxiety, anger, crying, boob pain etc. Honestly, this had all stopped since getting pregnant! So I'm guessing this is a hormonal change.

Another sweep booked Friday. Induction booked for Boxing Day but I really really don't want one. I'm desperate for labour to happen soon. Tho I'd be happy for her to be born tomorrow, 19/12/19 would be a nice date 😁

Good luck to everyone!
