I need some reassurance!!!

I’ve just found out I’m pregnant and going on my last period I’m guessing 7 weeks. Although I don’t actually know as I’ve had very irregular periods for the past year since my last miscarriage. The only reason I tested was because my boobs were soooo sore. Defiantly different and new I was. Was so happy to finally get my bfp after a year! So since finding out on Saturday my boobs have become “normal” last night I had the strongest cramps and very painful lower back ache. Today I’ve had moderate cramps and back ache. A little bit of nausea. I’ve gone to get a bath this evening and realised that I’ve got brown tinted discharge. I’m no so so worried and my anxiety is sky high. Ive not even felt this good in ages either. Had an 8 hour shift come home and done all my housework (so Unisual). So after all that my question is, has anyone noticed loss of symptoms, some sort of ‘spotting’ and pregnancy has co tinted? Or should I take this as the start of another misscariage? I’m just looking for answers in this time of worry.

Hi @Starry1234 I'm sorry to her about the anxiety and worry you are going through.

In answer to your question, I think that you'll get 50/50 yes this happened to me and all was fine and yes this happened to me and it was the start of a miscarriage. There's no way of knowing from other people's responses. Can you ring your local epu and get a scan or get your gp to refer. If you cite cramps and bleeding I think many will scan you. Good luck, and fingers crossed for you x

I have just had the exact same thing, about 4 days ago my boobs stopped being sore (without a poke) back ache and bloating cleared up out of nowhere and felt so energetic I managed to go for a run. Was worried due to lack of symptoms suddenly but done extra 2 tests both fine, read online this happens to loads of people, I still have the off taste in mouth and a bit of a sicky feeling if I smell something bad but apparently it's completely normal to not feel like shit the WHOLE time! Lol, Iv started taking the pregnancy vitamins with ginger so think that might have gave me a perk, have you changed anything in your routine? Xx

Thank you @Rubyroost. I’m trying to not cry with worry. Can I just call my epu? I called the docs this morning with finding out about the pregnancy at the weekend. Because I couldn’t say how far I think I and and with being irregular I got told a midwife would call me rather than giving me a booking in appointment today. Just to talk and see what she thought was best. I never got the call. Do you know if I can call the epu and arrange something myself? X

@Saraj09876 no I’ve changed nothing in my routine. Like you I just feel great all of a sudden! Even if I poke my boobs they just hurt a little bit. Nothing compared to what they have been for the past 2 weeks. When I tested it looked like I just had a boob job 😂 that’s what made me do one. They were unbelievably heavy too. It’s just the fact that all my symptoms seem to have gone and now this pink/brown discharge has scared me. I was already worried when I got the bfp but still happy at the same time. It’s just really worrying me x

@Starry1234 there's absolutely nothing to stop you trying. I know it varies from place to place. Where I am I thi k you have to be referred through gp, but I've heard other people contacting their epu themselves, self referring and being seen. When I went in with bleeding to hospital at weekend (walk in gp) I was seen on Monday morning at 9am in epu, so was a pretty fast turn around. Don't think there's anyone to scan on a weekend. I have also gone to Dr's with left sided pains and have been seen by epu the same day.

@Starry1234 symptoms can come and go, mine certainly did and boobs did deflate and then inflate again. Also, brown spotting can happen and baby be fine.

@Rubyroost yes that’s exactly what mine have done!! Deflated! That’s such a good term to use. Ok brilliant, I suppose I can only try. I’ll give my epu a call in the morning and also my gp. See what they say. So far I’ve had no more but will have a better idea in the morning I guess. Talking to you both is seeming to keep me a little more calm I just know I’m not going to be able to sleep any time soon. Got so many questions/thoughts going through my mind right now xx

@SparkleUK thank you. I’m bleeding today. Got cramps too. I can’t get an appointment at the epu today so I’m booked in tomorrow at 11. I took a test which said not pregnant. It was a CB digital one. It was my 3rd wee but I still got that result so I think I’ve miscarried x

So many hugs and good thoughts your way whatever the outcome is ❤️
See what they say tomorrow is all you can do for now but make sure you have someone close. Of course many supportive ladies on here too
