My little man already feels like he is worming his way out πŸ˜‚, first time for me so getting used to all these twinges and pains 😬. Anyone else booked in for a section? X

I'm 37 +2 weeks with my second Smile. My first came at 38+5 which I'm hoping happens again. With my first I was fine right to the end I even went into denial I was in labour. I had it in my head you always go over you due date with your first. This time I am really woddling around the baby feels very low and I've been having a lot of Braxton hicks. Midwife confirmed his head is engaged at my last appointment.

I’m 39+1 and am having the worst spd pains but can’t stop as have a very active toddler AND a hardcore nesting instinct kicking in Hmm have had strong Braxton hicks but not any real cramping or shows so I’m not sure..dd1 was 11 days late and I went into labour following my second sweep so I am seriously hoping that it won’t be the same this time round!!

I am 38+5 today and booked in for an ELCS on Tuesday at 39+1. It can't come soon enough. Baby is engaged and his head is so low that I am in constant pain and struggling to walk. I am not leaving the house now until I go to the hospital - I am just hoping he stays in until Tuesday!

@Blondefancy I know exactly what you mean with an active toddler. I keep trying to get my DD to have naps again just so I can relax.

@preggers506974215 ha, me too! She stopped napping a few months ago but I try and put her in her cott for some down time once a day..least we don’t have to worry about timing naps?? Grin

I'm 38+3 today and have felt brilliant the whole third trimester but it's all crashing down around me now haha.

Just been feeling really teary and low and all of a sudden my groin keeps giving way when I walk/stand up. Has this happened to anyone else? It's like a random pain or compressed nerve and then my leg goes. Might just be the babies head pressing on something.

Eurgh! X

39 + 3 , second baby.

Its so hard not knowing when they will make an appearance especially with all of the twinges etc, i think thats what makes you feel so emotional at the end because your hopefully everyday that today will be the day then it doesnt happen and the sadness kicks in lol

@india999 yes I have had that last couple of weeks, just a few times, it feels like a numbness and tingling sort of and runs down my leg, i think its baby pressing on a nerve... Maybe it means the babies are super low and ready to come out 😊

38+3, fed up but really need house to get back into order as been doing some minor renovations to hide so house all in upheaval which really makes he feel likes I'm in upheaval and i can't relax.

Bit I'm just wanting a sign or two that body is doing something.. Maybe there are no signs. Just tired of this all.

OMG I am only 30 weeks and I can’t wait, this baby girl is so heavy I can barely walk, my back hurts whether I am sitting lying down or standing up, soooooo tired πŸ˜“

38+2 here. My hips, pelvis and back feel like they're constantly on fire. Turning in bed is a nightmare, but apart from that I'm all gravy.

1st baby so I am going to assume that he will be late to the party, but my mucus plug has come out already so who knows.

How did you ladies go about getting an elective c section?

Exactly 38 today and my waters went at 2am. Labour not established in the meantime though - some tightening across bump, quite regular this morning but less so since about 9am - so am booked in for induction at 11pm tonight. Very much the opposite of the birth I'd hoped for, having been keen to get in the water, but just focused on getting baby earthside now Smile

@Ilovethekitties it was like a pop right down in my lower abdomen, then a lot of gushing fluid πŸ˜† soaked through PJs and sheets, glad I put the waterproof mattress protector on! The pop woke me up and weirdly I knew what it was straight away. Thanks all! Will try and update when there's any news.

@AuntieJuice i hope your induction went smoothly and you and your sweet baby are fit and wellπŸ₯°..

Im now 37+2 with baby #3, nesting has kicked in hard, in so much pain constantly! Im having like 3 baths a day just to relieve some pain😫, turning over in bed makes my pelvis feel like its about to crumble!, both my other 2 babys were 6 days late so got a feeling this one will be too😫 wish i knew when it was going to happen, i hate not knowing! 39+5 today and have my 40 week midwife appointment this afternoon. I just want baby to come now! Been feeling so emotional as of late, crying loads but not really sure why! Hormones all over the shop. This is my first baby and it’s so strange to wake up every morning thinking it could be today!

Just went out from hospital after a 30 weeks scan and they raised that my ammoniac liquid is too important Sad
I am seeing the obstetrician tomorrow to put a plan on place and see what can be done. So worried now
Does anyone’s if you had same issue? I know it’s only 1% of the pregnancy that are concerned

I’m 38+5 today. feeling pretty good, just tired. First day of maternity leave so enjoying not being at work. I have a stretch and sweep booked in for tomorrow but I’m not hopeful it’s going to work the first time round - I also have another booked in for my due date next week. I really think I’m going to go significantly over due :(

Just seen my midwife. Baby is full engaged and perfect position to give birth. Got to go again next week if baby hasn’t been born and they’ll offer me a sweep and book induction. Everything crossed he gets a wriggle on this week and arrives naturally!
