We're having a boy, and we've gone for Sam (not Samuel- ick!) just plain old Sam.

What are your choices?

Ooh we've gone for Erin or Lucy (I've got a certain pic in my head of baby's shape for Erin, if it's a large baby I think it'll have to be Lucy, I don't know why it's just the way my head is going LOL)
And Oisin (O-sheen) for a boy.

Probably Luca (we're having a boy) not sure about other names.... dh really wanted Enzo so that might end up as a middle name.

Ellie Rose is so pretty!

Francis / Frances is my grandads name he has alzihmers so not sure if he will be here to see LO but I think its a lovely name. Also DP has a tradition of middle names beggining with F in his family!

That is lovely Cazzy. Hope he will be around for you.

all my grandparents bar one maternal grandma have passed away thats why if I have a DD she will have my paternal grandmas name ass her middle name.

I think its nice to use family names and names that have special meanings to you, the only problem is picking whose especially if you have a big family!

At present this LO is going to have 6 great grandparents! Pretty amazing really!

OOh they are lovely. I think we are going with Oscar for a boy and Esme for a girl, though ds1 has quite vehemenly expressed his absolute dislike for the name Esme and now dp is worried it will cause major trauma(!) so wants to change it!

Lovely husband likes the random name of Torbjorn for a boy. We are not of scandanavian origin and it seems a bit OTT to me. (pro Torben) Sophie for a girl (maybe)

Thanx Cazzy

Ellie is similar to my DP's mum's middle name, which is Ellen and Rose is my mum's middle name. We get to keep them both happy.

We're having a little girl, and calling her Marianne.

We're also having a little gir (is it my imagination or does there seem to be more girls than boys expected on here?

Anyway she's going to be Isabella Grace (Izzy for short)

She may also get my family name (which is Ford) in addition to our surname - although DP is being difficult about that at the moment... well, we'll see .

We're having a girl. On the short-list are: Penelope, Lydia, Alice, Beatrice, Isabella. DS keeps calling her Imogen but DH is definitely not agreeing to that.

@kyala

Oisín was my first word! It was the name of our dog at the time, but it's a lovely name and also my cousin's name.

Although we pronounce it a bit more like U-sheen since we speak Connemara Irish.
