Hi Smile
I’m 31
Daughter is coming up 2.5
Due 18 March
I’m 15+6

Having a very rough HG pregnancy & feeling like a pretty rubbish mum at the moment. And nervous to think it won’t ever me just me & her again.. I know it’ll all be fine but it’s a strange concept right now!

Welcome mummies and congrats!!!
@Bol87 sorry to hear your suffering this time round when I'm sick i feel like a terrible mum as well as i cant be bothered doing anything between vomming but if all you can do is the minimum then at least you are trying and it will be short lived and she wont remember much about this stage
@Yvonne1988 yes id imagine it would be like starting all over again but at least this time you have a little helper as she is at that age were she will still have an interest sorry to hear about the bleeding im sure thats pretty stressful
@LilliesMummyx aww its scary isnt it just when you've passed it all and seem to think you are on an even keel you've to go through it all again and thank you 😘
@Sleepycat91 how early was your 1st? Ou never know this one may stay put a bit longer!
@Princesspickle777 you around the same as me! How have you been feeling?

Ive a scan booked for this evening for piece of mind and hopefully it will make it more real!!

I'm 33 next week and 7 weeks (due May)
DS is 19 months.

I'm struggling a bit because I'm waking up at 5 everyday (DS sleeps till 7 if we're lucky) and then just run out of energy and crash in the early afternoon. I had this in my first pregnancy but didn't have a toddler then, so I could have a nap!
Today I put on a few episodes of Duggee while I dozed on the sofa, woke up to DS smacking me round the face 🙄

Justasconfusedwithnumber2 · 02/10/2019 21:16

Yay I'm in! Congratulations all 😁

I am 33. DS1 is just about 2. Expecting DS2 mid January so I am 25 weeks.

This pregnancy is way tougher IMO. Knackered all the time and many more 'side effects'. Wish I had rested more the first time!

@tiredmoma yeh she's very excited. Can't wait to start helping me. I got signed off work for a few weeks today. Until at least after my next scan so that should be alright. Bit of rest.

Report
SleepingStandingUp · 02/10/2019 21:29

I'm 37
DS is 4
Expe ting identical boys sometime in December if I can make it to 34 weeks, won't go past 37 which is 19th Dec

DS was poorly for a long time so the idea of bringing home brand new babies is very weird

@tiredmoma Thank you hun x DH wanted to know but I put my foot down lol.

Don't be gutted, I can understand you want to be a bit further on x. Heartbeat should show in the next 2 weeks, that's amazing to look forward to. I was exactly the same at Epu with DS and had to go back 2 weeks later. It will go by so quickly xx

@Bol87 That's so crazy lol, due date buddies! Is your little girl interested? My little boy kisses my tummy and says he wants a gruffalo or brother. Not sure he quite understands but he'll get a shock lol x

@smeerf i am sure you are knackered! But at least you are getting and hour or two every morning of peace does he still have a nap? Sometimes you just need to stick them in front of the tv to get a bit of rest only thing is little boys dont seem to like anyone having a rest lol (ive heard of a few that wouldnt let mummy sleep for long!)

@Justasconfusedwithnumber2 welcome and congrats to you too!! I deffo took the naps the first time round for granted!!!

@Winter2019 awww a Christmas baby how lovely!! Fingers crossed this time round goes alot more smoothly for you!

@Yvonne1988 Awk bless try and get as much rest as you can!

@SleepingStandingUp How wonderful! And just in time for Christmas! i hope ds is ok now

@MissPepper8 Your just right it is your body after all i couldn't even risk him knowing and me not as he would tell his mum and she has a rather big gob so id find out one way or the other! trying to look forward to seeing the heartbeat and hopefully the next 2 weeks do fly in

Good luck for your scan in 2 weeks! Hope you can keep busy in the meantime. I have a little boy already, he's a little dream Smile it has been really tiring having a baby while pregnant but luckily he has a good long lunch time nap and is in bed early so I have lots of time to rest!

We're not finding out the sex. It feels like a million years ago that I did this, and its definitely harder this time around. The sickness has passed, thank goodness, but I'm still exhausted!

PetaO Still tired at 22 weeks? I thought it got easier in the 2nd trimester? I should have written notes, I cant remember when anything happened last time. Hopeful you get a bit of respite before 3rd tri.

The advert that's showing for me on Mumsnet at the moment is for heartburn medication - very appropriate! It hasn't kicked in for me yet but I'm still finding Rennie strips in random places from last time!!
