Due June 2020...

Can't quite believe it but I've just taken a test this morning... Baby no.2 is on the way! According to the NHS due date calculator, I'm due on 1st June 2020.

We're both a bit surprised as we'd only just started "trying not trying" (very lucky, I know) and our first TTC journey was a bit of a rollercoaster. But yeah... Here we go! DD will have just turned 2 when they arrive. Terrifying but we're both very excited!

Anyone else also found out the same today?

Think I actually meant we'd started "not not trying"... can I already blame baby brain at this point? Angry

How are you both feeling? I’m feeling rotten today - nausea and dizziness are awful! I’ve got a PT session at 11am and I’m not looking forward to it! Hmm

Congratulations @Anny27, that's lovely news! Smile

I'm feeling beyond knackered this morning but I'm not sure if that's just because me and DD have both had the cold from hell this week - meant even less sleep than usual! Maybe I've got the nausea and dizziness to come Confused

Hope you manage to smash that PT session @TwinkleStars15 Smile

Hi ladies, I just got bfp on a cheapy test. Do you think it will show up on a digital test? I'm thinking of going to buy one, but if it is at home I won't be able to hold myself back. Nhs website also says I'm due at the beginning of June.

@blaanotnow that’s what mine looked like and I didn’t think it would show on a digital but it did, and quickly too.

@Kittypillar I wouldn’t say I smashed it, but I got through it! Blush

Hello! I got very early bfps at 10dpo! Which was Monday. Seem to be due 31st May but that could change i guess!
I have to say I feel completely normal 😶 apart from tender boobs! I guess the symptoms are on the way... I still can’t get over how early I had a positive. I ovulated so early, at CD11/12 !! So I guess that’s why

Report
Blaanotnow · 20/09/2019 14:47

Ok, I'm gonna buy one later on to use first thing in the morning. I have no symptoms except maybe a little nausea that appeared as soon as I saw the bfp. Lool, but I'm sure that is a symptom that my mind made up. This is not my first but after ttc for 1year+ for dc3 it feels like it.

How are you guys planning on telling your dp/dh? I am going to wait till Sunday, which is when af was due. Don't want to let him know I tested early.

Don't worry @TwinkleStars15, you should be proud you still got yourself out there, even if it wasn't as you normally would feel. In any case, you're doing 100% better than me - the most exercise I've had today is chasing my toddler around the house Grin

@Blaanotnow I already told my OH, I'm a terrible secret keeper with him Blush I just went into our bedroom in the morning with brew and showed him the test as he woke up. I think he thought I was playing a joke on him at first! Grin

@TwinkleStars15 I have! I went to drs and very discreetly asked ( I live in a small gossipy town and i intend to stay under the radar for as long as poss!! Mainly as can’t bear 9 months of baby conversation) they book for when you are 8 weeks. I have mine for 14th Oct!! Feel weird as don’t feel pg at all!

Sure 🤔🤔 lol.

It’s my third and DH’s first! We have 2 DDs ages 10 and 7 from
Previous marriage. I hope they will be happy !!!!

I went out this morning and bought a ‘Brilliant Big Sister’ t-shirt for our 2 year old. When I got in from my PT session, I took her upstairs and changed her and she came downstairs saying “look daddy, my new t-shirt” The look on his face was priceless! GrinGrin

Thats so sweet @twinklestars15 !

I called midwife today and my appointment will be late october (will be around 9 weeks)

Report
Blaanotnow · 20/09/2019 20:03

@TwinkleStars15 that is very sweet and others you guys are being very sensible and straight to the point.
I'm going to take a picture of the test and hand my phone to him as that is what he has requested. In our ttc journey I asked him about how he would like to be told and that is how I know he prefers this method.

I would do the self referral come Monday hopefully.

Kittypillar · 20/09/2019 21:41

That's very cute @TwinkleStars15!

Didn't manage to self refer today but planning on doing it Monday. Think I need the weekend to let it sink in a bit - doesn't feel quite real yet!

Sorry for the blurry picture but I took it hastily (I also need to buy a new phone), it says 2-3 weeks. I'm very happy.
