For those of us who feel we are a bit thicker in the belly but no bump - I’ve read that once you’re pregnant your body ‘switches on’ fat cells towards your hips and bum to provide counter balance to the bump so you don’t fall over! Then closer to delivery turns those off and your boob ones on!

Hey guys. So weird. Does anyone weigh less then they did before pregnancy but also look bigger in face and body? Confused x

@barnyb I've lost half a stone since finding out I was pregnant and I can't fit into any of my more fitter trousers. I think it's fairly normal - especially if you've been sick in the first trimester? Not complaining- I was already almost a stone heavier by the end on T1 with my firstborn!

@Frillyfarmer ok that's reassuring then! :) only because I had my midwife appointment and they weighed me and I haven't weighed myself since beginning of pregnancy and I'm like 5 pounds lighter now. But I do not look it at all! If anything I thought I'd be about 4/6 pound heavier !!!? I'm sure it will all change soon 😂 xx
