@InDreamland good luck for the harmony results tomorrow

@sadtoday21 good luck with your scan tomorrow.

I keep feeling weird tightening feeling and sort of ripples in my tummy - more ripples that flutters. I'm wondering if it's baby, kind of feels like it could be. It's probably just gas though and me wishful thinking!

Thanks for the new thread @InDreamland and good luck for your harmony results tomorrow!

About me:
Age 26
2 previous losses - MMC in October 2018 where the baby died at 12+2 and a chemical pregnancy in March
Currently 20+5 with a boy!
I have a private scan on Sunday.

Thanks @InDreamland

Age 29
6 previous losses - 3 in 2016/17, then DS born 2018, then 3 more since January.
Currently 5+4ish, due date April I think but haven't properly calculated yet because I don't want to jinx it!!
Next scan on 22nd August to see if it is progressing and hopefully a heartbeat.

Still don't 'feel' pg, or able to say the p word properly! Most previous mcs were early/chemicals so currently I think further along than 5 previous times.

Age: 40
First baby. Mild pcos and irregular cycles.
First pregnancy first time trying in Dec on honeymoon. Severe sickness, spotting at 10 weeks then no heartbeat on scan. Baby stopped at 6 weeks. ERPC at 12 weeks in Feb.

Straight after chemical pregnancy at just over 4 weeks in March. Never got a strong positive.
Cycles unpredictable after so we were waiting for a fertility appointment but fell pregnant on cd 32. Blazing positives and ultrasound showing 'pregnant lining' but no sac yet.
Currently 4 weeks plus 3 and the sickness is kicking in.

Does anyone else suffer with IBS? I'm really struggling with a right sided low down pain. Presumably the hormones are causing it. I've had it before so not pregnancy related. Just wondering what I can take for IBS in pregnancy? Xx

Morning. Thank you for the new thread @InDreamland 🐧

I'm 35 (nearly 36), ttc for over 18 months and had a missed miscarriage in April. Currently 4+4 with my due date in April 2020, if all is well. Having an early scan around 6 weeks at the epu. Lots of symptoms that seemed to start quite early on compared to last time.

@Catconfusion I'm not sure about ibs treatment in pregnancy, sorry. Does peppermint tea help at all?

VenusStarr · 09/08/2019 06:43

Hope all is well with your test results @InDreamland xx

Hey @VenusStarr how did you sleep? Peppermint oil has helped in the past but there's differing views on whether completely safe in pregnancy. I could try the tea. I'm feeling very nauseous today. I do sympathise with you getting early symptoms. I'm hoping it's a good sign. Xx

I hope the scan goes ok @sadtoday21 I'll be thinking of you! Xx

Thanks for the new thread.

Age 29

1 DS aged 2, started TTC Oct 18, MC at 6weeks in Jan and MC at 5+3 in May. Currently 10+6, have my second early scan on Saturday and I'm swinging between positive we've got further than previously, and terrified it's going to be a MMC.

Report
VenusStarr · 09/08/2019 07:00

Hey @Catconfusion, I slept better last night thank you. Was up a couple of times for the loo but managed to drop off again. I've gone off tea and coffee, which isn't a bad thing because of the caffeine. I'm mainly drinking water - feel really thirsty all the time, but getting acid / burning in my throat - ginger biscuits made that worse yesterday! Hope the peppermint tea helps xx

That's good @VenusStarr, I can't drink tea or coffee either. The thirst is bad for me too. Constant dry mouth. Also got some weird sinus symptoms. Definitely feel like I've got hormones up to my eyeballs! Xx

Hi

Thanks @InDreamland for the new thread

Me 34 nearly 35

3 MC and 1 MMC at 12 wks in 06/07 couldn’t get pregnant again naturally after car accident that injured my husband. Male factor infertility- antisperm antibodies.

ICSI in 2012 resulted in live birth of twins, DD and DS now 6. Haven’t been on contraception in 12 years. Surprise BFP in May 19 - MC at 7+6 June 19 and amazingly currently 8+4 pregnant straight after miscarriage.

Had my EPAU scan on Monday at 7+6 everything looked great so far. Was nerve wracking as it was 8 wks to the day since I was there to confirm my miscarriage but fingers crossed we are doing good.

@fnej01 happy birthday!! πŸŽ‚

@sadtoday21 good luck for your scan today x

@fnej01 happy birthday!

@sadtoday21 good luck for today's scan!

Thanks ladies. I have the last appointment so straight after work. It's going to be a long day. Convinced something has happened to baby since Tuesday. This anxiety just never ends. 12+3 today, the exact time (tonight) I passed the first pregnancy.

When is officially "the safe zone"?
