FAINT POSITIVES?

Hi looking for some advice in regards to some pregnancy tests I've been doing .

I started testing a week ago because I have been feeling sick etc .. and having faint clear blue lines ever since , decided to try a first response and getting the same faint line.

I had a miscarriage at 7+4 weeks 4 weeks and 3 days ago. Going out of my mind :(

Any help would be appreciated/similar stories with positive outcomes xxxx

@louisepottsx when would your period be due?

I think there are people who have had this and it's been ok as they've just had low levels and I had hoped I was one my previous cycle, tests got a bit darker at first then stayed the same then went lighter and then started to bleed. Had it all confirmed at the drs, it was heartbreaking although it was early I thought we were pregnant. I hope that isn't the case for you but I'm glad when I asked a similar question a few people told me stories similar and it meant it wasn't as much of a shock. The silver lining if this does happen is that you can get pregnant but this one just wasn't viable (usually a chromosomal thing can't be helped), for me we then caught again the next cycle and I'm now 6+6 and had a scan a few days ago and saw anheartbeat.

Drs say a line is a line but if you're concerned go to the dr and see if they will do a blood test to check if levels are rising? Again really don't want to worry you but slow or no ride in hcg can be early miscarriage or ectopic so especially if you bleed or get severe pain go get it checked.

Really sorry I couldn't give you a better outcome but I was glad I was prepared for the worst when it happened to me 🤞🏻 you have a very different outcome but here if you need to talk 💕

Thanks for replying ❤️ last time when I fell pregnant it was a really faint positive but then they got darker with in a few days. These have been faint for a week. But I don't know when I ovulated or when my period is due as i only miscarried 4 weeks ago :( so it's really hard to track. I'll be so upset if it's another miscarriage/ chemical pregnancy as that will be two in a row. Going to re test in the morning with first morning pee & see what happens. If still faint I will speak to the doctors I think . Mums net won't let me attached photos. Happy that your pregnancy is going well for you xxxx

Did you get a negative test after your miscarriage. You are normally told to do one 3 weeks after to make sure you have no retained products.
If you didnt and are getting lines I'd go to the gp as you need to be assessed.
If you got negatives and now positives then it looks like you are pregnant but very very early

I got a negative test result at the hospital about 9 days after my miscarriage as I was still having pains etc so they did some tests, including a pregnancy test which was negative xxx
Really hoping this turns out another pregnancy :( but I don't know why they haven't darkened in a week :( unless I am super early xxx

It doesn’t matter if it gets darker or not - it tells you that you ARE pregnant not HOW pregnant.
I done three over a week that we’re all faint, but they were all positive.
Don’t give yourself extra stress that isn’t needed.

@ChrisPrattsFace how far are you now? I know it's just mentally I feel like I need a thick positive . Did you never get a dark positive ?

Nope, I done three tests over a week and all three were very faint. I can easily tell you that now but I know what I was like at the time! Pregnancy is anxiety - and ‘colour of the line’ is an added stress that often means nothing.
I’m 33 weeks now, getting booted in the ribs for fun!

@louisepottsx I'm so so sorry I was really hoping you'd have a different outcome. I did but only because I'd been a few days before as I was worried it wasn't right, and so it was on my record if it was to happen again. It might be best to speak to a dr so they can confirm that that is what's happening. Make sure you look after yourself 💕💕💕

I am going to ring the doctors tomorrow as this will be my second in a row which is worrying:( I do believe that lines should be dark and thick though or get thicker. Which mine wasn't :( not a good sign. Trying for a baby is so stressful isn't it and heart breaking xxx
