I'm so excited to start this thread. Looks like I'll be due 1st April from my ovulation day (28th July by last period)!

I'm absolutely over the moon after a MC in May.
Bring on the April Babies!

Age 23

Hi! Congratulations! I'll join you as I'm about 5+5 so due mid March but I'm confident they'll budge my due date back a bit & I'll go overdue again ending up with an April baby 😂

Congratulations! I'm expecting these weeks to go very slowly...I think I'll get an early private scan, have you considered anything like that?

I'm going bonkers already but don't think we'll have any extra scans. I have my 1st midwife appointment mid August so hoping the summer hols will keep me busy and it'll fly by x

I'm only 4 weeks today! I can't believe I found out so early and it's just taking so long! Feeling quite headachy and bloated now but very blessed and excited!

I'm expecting some other ladies to be getting their BFPs for April soon! Congratulations to all of you who come into this thread. Only 8 more months of worrying to go!

Hi both! I’m joining here.

Found out I was pregnant this week. Totally unexpected - we decided we’d “see what happens” and did it once and boom. Preggers.

I’m about 6 weeks. I have no idea what I’m doing!

Feeling very tired, very nauseous and struggling to recall basic words. Otherwise, I’m feeling good.

ttc19 · 19/07/2019 17:55

Hi @ShirleyPhallus I'm 6 weeks too! I all of a sudden feel really panicky about miscarriage.. I guess we all worry from time to time. This is my 2nd.. how about you?

ShirleyPhallus · 19/07/2019 18:32

It’s my 1st! I feel pretty good on the worry front, except that I started a new job very recently and a little concerned about how they’ll take the news

Report
Islandermum · 19/07/2019 18:54

@ShirleyPhallus I understand. I'm starting a new job and will be 11 weeks when I begin so I'm really dreading telling them!

I'm sure it will be absolutely fine.

Congratulations! So excited to share this time!

How is everyone feeling? My weekend has been so lovely, really relaxing but I feel like I’ve just slept all weekend!

Report
ttc19 · 21/07/2019 22:44

@ShirleyPhallus I've slept a lot too! Been very active also, worked yesterday & then spin and a big walk today. No symptoms really except for tiredness, bloating and the dreaded hormones!!!

Islandermum · 21/07/2019 23:14

Mine has been great actually, having sore boobs and feel so hungry!
I've got a jam packed work week so I'm not looking forward to feeling loads of symptoms this week! Maybe I'll be one of those lucky ladies who don't get much sickness 🤞

Feels like all of my symptoms have disappeared today. Hoping that its just a normal ebb and flow of hormones but it's hard to not worry! How are you ladies?

Feels like all of my symptoms have disappeared today.

Oh my gosh me too! I’ve woken up today totally full of beans, no tiredness, no nausea, no headaches. Am now frantically googling if this is normal.

I did read that you get new hormones every few days so I am hoping this is just our bodies used to the last batch and maybe we should make the most of it before feeling crap again tomorrow?!

Hopefully Shirley. I'm glad I'm not alone.
I was so worried that I've taken a CB digital dates test and everything seems fine and the weeks have gone up! Maybe I'll stop stressing now!

How is are you feeling this morning @Islandermum? I have got mild stomach cramps again which I am taking to be a good thing!

Apparently symptoms come and go easily, so we should take the easy days when they come. Have you got your scan booked in yet?

Islandermum · 23/07/2019 10:10

@ShirleyPhallus feeling more pregnant this morning. I'm only 4+6 but I think I'm maybe getting my first lot of nausea? Could be that my breakfast didn't agree with me though.
Happy for the symptoms at the moment. I have now passed the time I miscarried so I'm the most pregnant I've ever been. Feels like a big milestone for me!
I've not got my scan booked in yet but probably going to later on this week.
How many weeks are you now?

Ahhhh congrats for passing the time! What a relief that must be for you!

I took another test this evening just to be sure, pleasingly the line is so strong that it seems to have pulled the dye from the test line Grin

I’m 6 weeks and 2 days now. Seeing the doctor on Friday then will book the scan. I think I have decided where to give birth but it’s tricky how much you have to decide up front!

Hi ladies!
5weeks here! We found out super early too and the last 10 days could not have gone slower!!

Apps are saying EDD of 24th march but I figured this group was more likely 🤣

Sore boobs, unable to remember ANYTHING! weird pressure that feels constantly like an impending fart (tmi!?) and oh the worry!

I worry that everyone can tell already (ridiculous I know)
Worry that something bad will happen
Worry that I’m doing it wrong!

First pregnancy and we have a holiday booked in what will hopefully be weeks 11-13 so are going to have a private scan just before we go around 9 weeks so we can go away feeling a little bit more confident and excited to come back and tell everyone!

Is it just me who seems to think about it alllll day?!

@WingingIt101 I'm also due March 24th - but as you said it's likely it may be April! I also think about it all day!

Our friends have definitely guessed already - it was even brought up at a group dinner last night! I tried to make a joke out of it but it was very obvious that they have guessed.

I'm also worried about things going wrong, but trying to remain as calm as possible and remove negative thoughts from my mind.

I'm just constantly wondering how the heck I'm going to make it to my first scan to tell everyone...

Islandermum · 24/07/2019 12:50

Congrats @WingingIt101!! All of my apps say different dates, some say 5 weeks, some say 4 +4! Who knows but the nausea kicked in for me today and yesterday so it's all becoming very real.

It's so hard to not worry but we must try and chill out!
I booked my early scan yesterday for 7 weeks (move country when I'm 7+4 so didn't want to risk not having one for a while)

It's also really hard in this heat because I already feel really hot anyway 😅
