Hi everyone, would like your opinions please.

I have just found out that i am about 5 weeks pregnant with my second child. I feel like my clothes are starting to feel tighter already is this normal ?

I had morning (well anytime) sickness with my first child but can not remember when this started but have not had any yet?

Also i have a weird kind of ache in my tummy and every now and then get sharp pains down below, i should be on my period now, is this normal? I told my doctor about it and she informed me if it was not a pain as such then it was ok?

Basically i do not really feel pregnant and wanted some reassurance.

Thank You

I got pains when I was on my due date, really bad lower tummy ones. When it was my second I recognised the pains from my first and knew I was pg. I didn't feel it at all until I was pushing the little git out. If that's helpful at all?

Sounds just like my 2nd pg (actually was my 4th as had dd1 then 2 mc then pg dd2!!) I never had any symptons with dd2 no sore boobs/no sickness but did feel bloated almost immeaditely and was in maternit clothes by 13wekks etc etc. Spent first 12 weeks panicking and worrying (didnt help having a bleed at 7 weeks!!) but all was well and dd2 aged 6 months is fast asleep upstairs!!

Morning sickness usually starts a bit later, often 7 or so weeks. My clothes felt tighter pretty much straight away and I have had the backache and pains you describe!!

Congratulations!!!

In all my pg I have had backache but I have a bit of a dodgy back at best of times.

I managed to convince myslef that I was having an eptopic pg at 7 eeks as had small brown bleed then another red bleed and tiny bit of pain on one side (which as probably a stitch )but was sent for early scan and all as fine. Dr at hospital said that you feel more twinges/get bigger quicker etc 2nd time as everything has already been streched once before

Congratulations!! My pregnancies were totally different as well - no sickness with my first, in fact all pretty smooth sailing. My second I was sick loads, loads of what felt like sort of muscular aches and pains all around my belly and groin area with the second, chronic cystitis...you name it! Plus I craved chocolate like you would not believe so funnily enough also gained weight fairly early on!

Sorry - don't mean to make light of your concerns in any way. I know loads of people who had 2 or 3 completely different pregnancies and everything was just fine. I think it's pretty normal for things to be different with each one. Just try to relax (as much as you can with one already!)...you're going to be busy when no.2 comes along!

I am 5 weeks pregnant with my second child but don't feel pregnant at all. It is completely different to my first. No sickness this time unlike the first. I have pre existing diabetes but good control. Any reassurance would be good!

all 3 of mine have been different - 1st never felt sick but actually threw up twice (didnt know anything about it till i actually threw up!)

2nd- felt sick on a morning and was sick fairly regularly.

3rd - have felt sick on a morning and night but not actually been sick.

also cramps are normal and its completly normal not to feel pregnant, ive just reached 12 wks and now that my sickness and sore boobs are dying down feel scarily normal now

Second time pregnant after IVF (1st baby 'spontaneous'). Feel like hell. Is sickness worst 2nd time round?! Can't stop crying. Wanted this pregnancy so badly but now I'm hating it.
