hello all. just feeling a bit worried. 10 weeks and just don't feel pregnant. my boobs are still tender but that's about the only sign. morning sickness came and went within a week. i had some bleeding last week and had a scan which showed that the baby is ok. just feeling paranoid i suppose cos this is my first pregnancy. anyway, thanks for reading my moan..

if you are worried you shoudl go and see your Gp or midwife ( if you have one yet)AFAIW the only way to check everything is still ok is blood tests or another scan. but i am not an expert

I was paranoid in all my pregnancies . and now i am a paranoid mum - you never stop worrying. have you joined one of the mumsnet antenatal groups- they are very good for moaning. you can moan online to complete strangers who will becoem your virtual buddies

Hi, just to let you know, I don't feel pregnant at all either. In fact I took another pregnancy test this morning just to ease my mind! I've had no morning sickness. The only signs so far are are bigger boobs, tiredness (all the time) and I've become fussy with my food. I can't wait for my 12 week scan - I'm hoping it will all feel real after that. Maybe we should be thanking our lucky stars that we don't feel sick Hope it all goes 'swell' for you soon.

coopsie, the only things that will tell you if you are still pregnant are blood tests pr a scan. unfortunaltly HCG can still be picked up if you havwe m/c

You are perfectly normal.

I am PG for the first time and didn't have any PG symtoms at all apart from sore boobs in the first trimester - no MS at all the whole time. Got a few growing pain cramps for a few weeks then they stopped as well and so convinced myself that I was no longer pregnant as I didn't feel PG at all, so i do know how you feel.

I am 35 weeks today so not long to go till I get meet my little girl. Try not too worry too much (I know it's hard not too) as I'm sure everything is fine - not everyone has loads of symptoms.

Just another caution as to the use of pg tests later on (don't know how much later) in pg, the HCG levels fall and I think a heavily pg woman may test negative? I heard this somewhere.

Thanks Hersetta. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

Heavily pg women will not test negative. Levels fall off but don't drop to zero - impossible as hcg is produced by cells in the placenta.

Only way to check for ongoing viability is a scan at this stage.

Stay away from PG tests! My symptoms dropped away so much at 8 weeks that I foolishly did a PG test and did my mind more harm than good. The test line was much fainter than the one I did when I first found out. So I thought the worst had happened but thankfully I had a scan booked that week which showed a good strong heartbeart.

The HCG levels do drop off the further along you are.

Easier said than done, but try to enjoy the times when your symptoms disappear because you'll know about it when they come back.

A couple of nights ago I was driving home from work when the excess saliva thing came back. Swallowing it just made me gag so I had to keep spitting it out of the car window. The perfect cure are those sour cherry cola bottles from Sainsbury's pick and mix!
