Convincing myself I'm miscarrying after so many miscarriages

I'm 6 weeks and 3 days. Had recurrent miscarriages and since I've found out about this baby, I'm on Clexane and aspirin due to APS (sticky blood)

. I've only had very mild and sporadic nausea, boob soreness comes and goes and I'm tired but apart from that I don't have any other symptoms. I'm sat thinking about it and sending myself into panic spirals and don't know what to do. My 2.8 year old is trying to help me feel better but I honestly feel like I'm losing my mind.

I know there is a reduced chance of miscarriage with nausea but that doesn’t mean that fluctuating symptoms are a sign you are miscarrying again! I convinced myself so many times during the first trimester that I would be having another miscarriage because I’d been less nauseous than the previous day, but everything is going ok at 18 weeks. And there are loads of other ladies on the pregnancy after miscarriage thread who have said really similar things. Please feel free to come and join if you feel up to it, it’s ‘fresh start thread for pregnancy after miscarriage or loss’ and it’s very supportive :)

Are you having an early scan? Wishing you the best of luck xx

@samanthajonespr I totally understand the anxiety. Just to say though that I didn't have any nausea when pregnant with my DS and he was born healthy with no complications and is a happy chatty 2 yr old. I also didn't have nausea when I had a MMC at 11 weeks in April. I am now pregnant again - 5 weeks 3 days and don't have any symptoms apart from a bit of indigestion this evening. I am also willing the nausea to set in and scared of another MC but fingers crossed it's a healthy and sticky bean for both of us.

@Vuduvu having a scan a week today and absolutely convinced myself it's going to be a blank screen. I think I might join that thread, it's a very weird time when you're pregnant after a mc isn't it?

@Newbie21 fingers crossed. I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to any nausea. Sticky beans all round Flowers

@samanthajonespr it is the absolute worst! I was so so anxious and miserable all through the first trimester (third pregnancy after two miscarriages) - still a bit anxious now but coping better. I really feel for you.

I hope it's a comfort having your little one? Your body has done this before and can do it again!

@Vuduvu I have no idea what I'd do without my precious son. He's my best mate and is always ready with a cuddle or a dance!

I've woken up this morning with boobs like red hot medicine balls so I just need to try and remember all this when the panic sets in. really hope the anxiety settles once I've had my scan next week.

Congrats on your rainbow, they will be your shining light like my little boy is to me.

samanthajonespr do come join us on the pregnancy after miscarriage thread. I have a 4 year old, have had 3 consecutive miscarriages and am now 30 weeks pregnant. I agree with Vuduvu that symptoms mean very little. I had almost no symptoms during my first trimester of first pregnancy, variable symptoms in second and third pregnancies (miscarriages) and severe constant nausea in my fourth (mmc). This time I had mild variable symptoms and bleeding all the way through to 14 weeks and am still pregnant.

@Paranormalbouquet I'm so sorry for your losses and congratulations on your little rainbow. It's the toughest thing we can go through, imo. I'll join the thread Smile

Just went back to this thread during an idle scroll (corona-based boredom) and I just wanted to say that the little baby did indeed stick and we celebrated his first birthday yesterday. Your support at the time I started this thread was very valuable and I want to thank you all. I hope you all got your sticky babies too Thanks
