Hello - having just spemt a hideous weekend in hospital with excrutiating abdominal pain (dosed up to the eyeballs with morphine; pethadine and goodness knows what else!!!) - I have been diagnosed with ovarian cysts on the left side. I am also 7.5 weeks pregnant. Amidst all the doctor speak on the fact that this can be quite common I wonder if any of you guys have similar stories/experiences that you would like to share to help reassure me.

I have polycystic ovaries (really sympathise about the pain involved), during both of my pregnancies the cysts have abated though. They have checked specificaly for them during normal pregnancy scans, and each time they have wavered then diminished completely. (Unfortunately they returned after DD was born, and I'm sure they will eventually this time too, but I have PCOS, so I don't suppose that's any surprise!) I hope they don't cause you any further problems this pregnancy, I hope they dissapear for you too!
