I'm 10-11DPO and just had BFP on a digital. I know it's incredibly early but looking at a due date March 3rd 2019!

So this is number 2 for us! Have been trying for a wee while. Our daughter was conceived via clomiphene and metformin through fertility clinic so we are delighted to have managed naturally this time!

thrilled to join you guys! Got my BFP this morning and according to the NHS calculator I'm due on the 1st of March! @Velcro88 I'm so with you - shocked and scared. My partner is super calm and pleased. I actually had a bit of a cry, out of sheer surprise.
xx

Hi all congratulations! Can I join please? Got my BFP on Sunday at 12dpo - due on 1st March. This will be our first so we're very excited but also very nervous!

Who's been peeing as much as I have?!

@ladycarlotta 😆 glad to hear I'm not the only one! And never mind the emotional rollercoaster I've been on this week. Felt sure it was bad PMS - almost started tearing up in a meeting because someone shared some good news! I think I'm due to be a mess.

@Tinker315b and @thefirsttimer this is my first time too. Feels pretty life changing.

Anyone else turned 'pregnancy mode' on in Flo? (I probably shouldn't have yet!). It looks like some kind of shellfish to me!

Not sure I'll be able to keep it secret for long... glad we can share with one another! Wondering whether to phone my mum.... anyone else? Too soon? 😂

Hello ladies I hope you don't mind me joining, I've come over from the ivf board with my BFP 😁😁😁
I tested quite early (naughty girl) and got a bfp at what would normally be 9dpo, and have got to having dark beautiful lines (thank goodness) and I have had my beta drawn today, 16dpo and it's 600!! Yikes! Sooo happy! I have a scan booked in for July 13th, I hope it comes round quick! Xx

Thanks @Velcro88
It's so surreal, I can't quite believe it!

I'm soooo desperate to tell people too, only my other half knows.
I read somewhere that if we make it to heartbeat at 7weeks I'm scan the chance of mc is something like only 6%.

That's my next mile stone! 21 days to go!!! Agghhh! Xx

ladycarlotta · 21/06/2018 18:22

ooh @Windmill1828, that's a very encouraging statistic!

I'm also desperate to tell people - we are going for dinner with friends tonight who have been watching us hawkishly for signs of a pg for AGES, and they are definitely going to notice if I don't drink. We'll probably tell them early, but not this early...

Report
Windmill1828 · 21/06/2018 18:26

@ladycarlotta as I did ivf, I've not been drinking now for 6 weeks + and I swear my friends are on to me! I said I'm on a detox but they know me too well. I love a glass of vino!!! 😂😂

thefirsttimer · 21/06/2018 20:12

Wow congratulations Windmill 😊! Do you mind me asking how long you've been trying? We were coming up to 2 years and starting to think about going down the route of further testing and possible treatment, so it's really great to hear positive stories!

We too are desperate to tell people! We've told my DParents because they were aware of the struggles we've been having, so it was great to share that with them Smile. I think we'll wait until after having an early reassurance scan to tell anyone else though (as hard as it will be!).

Hi all, I’m tentatively joining from the June conception bus - got my BFP yesterday at 12dpo, and my estimated due date is 1st March! I’m excited and nervous in equal measure at the moment. This will be our second baby but the first was seven years ago so I feel like I’m starting all over again! I’m also desperate to tell people, at least parents and siblings anyway! I’m seeing my mum this weekend and I will feel like I’m lying to her if I don’t tell her!

Has anyone made a GP appointment yet? I need to get my thyroid checked so will probably book an emergency appt today which will make it all seem very real!

@thefirsttimer
Thank you, yeah we've been trying for a while, over the moon in March when I got a natural BFP but it ended in emergency surgery as it was ectopic. I went for a scan and they broke the devastating news and sent me straight to A&E. Very scary as it was alive in my tube with a heartbeat so could've burst at any second.

My way of coping was to jump straight in with both feet and book a private appt for IVF as I wanted to try to reduce the risk of another ectopic.
That was middle of May - I had a short protocol and here I am on a pregnancy board. 😄😄😄

My beta numbers were high which is good I think, as ectopics usually aren't that high but we will find out for sure in a few weeks when I have my scan.

Ivf isn't scary, it's not as dramatic as it's made out. I quite enjoyed it actually, it was exciting!
The worry is the hardest, going through injecting yourself everyday to get a bfn is awful and it does happen.
So far we've been lucky. I'm very blessed and I know that! ❤️

I guess at least with IVF you know exactly what's going on. There's definitely an egg, there's definitely a sperm, they definitely met, they're definitely in the right place. Must make it really really hard when it doesn't work out, but after an experience like yours I totally get why you'd go for medical intervention. So pleased it worked!

@Velcro88 I was the tetchiest bitch in the days before my BFP. I thought I was gearing up for the period from hell. I don't know if it was because I was stressing about testing or if it's hormones but I sort of hope the former - even I don't want to live with me in the stinking mood I was in.

I have switched immediately to stressing about whether this baby will stick. I've had early miscarriages in the past (a long time ago), which the GP has put down to just one of those things. I really would like this little one to stick, although I am also bricking it. We just moved house so I'm off to register with a new GP today. I did another FRER this morning like the maniac I am, and thank goodness the line is a little darker again.

Report
Velcro88 · 22/06/2018 11:18

@ladycarlotta I'm exactly the same. I've been researching Chem preg rates and MCs. I almost tested again this morning but decided I'd do it tomorrow instead! (I have two frers left and will be using them both - plan to test on sat and then again maybe the following sat if I can wait??). I guess we're all taking it much the same at the moment! (which is reassuring!). My sister is visiting on Saturday so I think I'll be telling her then. Which means I should probably tell mum too! She's a big gossip though so will have to tell her to keep it quiet!!

@mostimproved I have booked an apt with the GP for a couple of weeks time. Feels early but they're so busy I figured it's best to get it in the diary! Xx

@Velcro88 @ladycarlotta I've spent about 200 quid on tests! 😂 this addiction is getting silly but I can't stop! 😂😂😂.
I got my first very big (bigger than control line) line today! So I think I may have to temper it down a bit now as I think I'm maxed out!
Boots I'd totally out of frer and I think it's all my fault! 😂😂 so paranoid though.
I wish this scan would hurry up!

omg! darker than the control line!! this is my NEW GOAL, I will not rest until I've seen one myself. Today's FRER was darker than yesterday's which I'm taking as a definite plus.

Is anyone else feeling as puketastic as I am? Again, honestly can't tell if it's just anxiety. Everything smells gross though, which was my first sign at about 8dpo.
