Perfectly normal. All pregnancies are different and every woman's body responds differently, which is why you get stories of women's hiking they are going for a poo and delivering a baby whereas others have been sick as a dog from the word go. Some women go off food, others get cravings, some women have a huge belly from the off others stay small all through.

congratulations, whatever happens to your body enjoy your pregnancy and your new baby.

I had virtually no symptoms at 8 weeks and had a scan at the epu because I was so worried/anxious.
Baby was absolutely fine! Think no symptoms are just as common as lots

First pregnancy I was ill until 28 weeks last pregnancy symptoms disappeared around 8 or 9 weeks (scared the life out of me after a previous miscarriage where I'd continued to have symptoms) but no she was as healthy as could be and is currently 3 and toilet training (for better or worse!)

I’ve felt virtually nothing. A little bit more tired than normal but I went on holiday and felt back to normal, so that might just have been a busy spell at work! 12w scan this week was a lovely, weird experience as it was the first time I’ve really believed there’s anything in there.

Make the most of it and long may it last!

P.S. love the idea of pooing the baby out while on a hike...

It's normal. I'm lucky in that I've never had any real symptoms in my 3 pregnancies. I'm currently 16w with DC3 and only found out at 12w!

carey12 it could revolutionise national health maternity service provision couldn't it? For a start they could just sign midwives up to membership of the Ramblers Association instead of all that expensive training .......
