Hi, please help me ladies . I have taken a tesco HPT - and have got a thin blue line in the test window, the line is the same thickness as the control one and it is blue so am quite sure it isn't an evaporation line I don't want to get my hopes up as I have read the tesco tests are known for giving false positives ?*

There's a little paper clip under the box where you write your post. Unless you are a new member, you can't post photos for a few days of signing up

I'm just going to be honest, I had a very convincing false positive with that Tesco blue dye test. Really cheesed me off. However, could still be that yours is real, save yourself the headache and get yourself a first response early response from superdrug x

If there’s colour in the line it’s a positive. I had a giant positive really early with A Tesco HPT. Turned out it was right I got strong positives later with IC’s when my period was due.

Thanks ladies , I'm a new member so can't upload images of this just yet but I will ASAP , done another test today different brand a cheap acutest and was negative - may be that those only detect a higher hcg or the tesco one is a dodge-

First Response!

Tesco and Sainsbury’s tests are notorious for false positives.

This was the test done on Friday - although it doesn't look like it but it's blue and the same thickness as the control line. Negative test on Sunday though different Brand ?
