When do I do something?

I'm a little over 10weeks.
For the last two weeks it's been manageable but the last three or four days I've been really struggling with morning sickness that's hitting me all day especially in the evenings. I'm managing to keep down water, but once I finally find a food that I can eat, I throw it up about 5mins later. I'm continuously gagging on an empty stomach.
Any advice or suggestions?
I'm worried my baby's not getting nutrients and I can't bear to lose another one.

Help!!
TIA xx

I'd talk to the gp or midwife now, they can reassure you and talk options re drugs, doesn't mean you have to decide to take any yet if you think you're managing.

So glad I found one of your posts!!
Don't worry about the baby not getting enough nutrients - they take what they need and suck anything usable out of you. I lived off ice lollies and pasta with butter for the first 14-16 week. Are you taking prenatals in the morning? If yes, try taking them just before bed. That might help. Definitely ask your midwife or GP, there are so many things you can take to help ease sickness. X

It's awful isn't it. I sipped full fat Pepsi, pure orange juice and nibbled biscuits. Once you get some sugar in you you'll feel better and the nausea will ease to allow you to eat a little of something. I did this in all 4 pregnancies. You could always try sugar cubes or boiled sweets to get your sugar levels up to allow you to eat. If that doesn't help then see your GP for some anti-emetics.

It's getting easier soon!! And then just want it over with from 30ish weeks onwards...
All good thanks. Had a little bleed a couple of weeks back but it was a one off. Another scan next week at 36+1 to make sure the fluid really did stay down and then hopefully I'm free to deliver at the MLU. Baby is kicking up a storm, it's actually painful and uncomfortable. So yes, very close. Smile

@Peanutty86 OMG!!! 4 weeks to go!!! I'm so excited for you!! And I've just found out at the weekend my little sis is 5 weeks pregnant! So I get to do it with her!! 😍

Hopefully the fluid has sorted itself out so you can do the MLU. I'm hoping to do water birth in the MLU. And if all goes well I'm planning a home birth for the next one. Can't wait to hear that all goes well with the birth!! 🤞🏻can't wait to hopefully see a pic!!

@LiteraryDevil1 thanks hun. Coke does make me feel a little better. But it's keeping whole meals down that I'm struggling with. I've got sickness bands so we'll see if they make a difference tonight.

@Cakelaur OMG that's amazing!!! Congrats to your sister, how exciting!!! And cousins at the same age will be fantastic!!

Yes I'm the same. I've bought the digital pack from the positive birth company and we've been watching the videos and I'm practicing breathing etc so want to try and do it as natural as possible. I can really recommend it! It was £35 and the hypnobirthing course we were going to do was £250/£350.
