17 weeks and feel empty

During the first trimester I had all the symptoms. Nausea, bloating etc. I'm now 17 and a half weeks pregnant and all my symptoms are gone.

I have a little bump but it feels empty. Like there's nothing in there. Up until now I always felt full iykwim. Anyone else feel the same?

I felt the same! Baby took forever to start moving too (25 weeks) so it went on for a while! Take solace in the fact your anomaly scan isn’t far off and that can be a magical experience reminding you baby is still there!

Enjoy the peace, lack of nausea and energy whilst you can, before you get too big and achey!

I’m nearly 21 weeks and feel
The same! No movement and not really much of anything else!

I'm 16+5 and all sickness has gone. It's a bit of a limbo period where you're not sick but can't feel movement, I know it's there though as my bump seems to grow every day.

Ladies, be grateful. I had HG with both my pregnancies from 5 weeks until term and it was absolutely horrendous. Was on anti-depressants for the second one and lost my job due to so much missed time. I'd have given anything to feel 'normal'!

I know I shouldnt complain @delta. With my last two pregnancies I had terrible sickness the entire 9 months. There were days I couldn't get out of bed. Perhaps that's why it feels so weird that I don't feel anything this time round.

Tbh it worries me to feel so normal. Like something must be wrong. I'm hoping bubs will start kicking soon, it will start to feel 'real' then.

Sorry @Poptart4, I wasn't trying to make you feel bad, on the contrary!

I must say that I'm discouraged from having a 3rd DC because I'm scared of HG again....

I know how you feel. At my 12 week scan I was so relieved that there was actually a baby there, I was starting to wonder if I was actually imagining the whole thing because I was feeling so much better compared to the earlier days.
