Following on from the Itchy & bitchy 2nd trimester thread!

I'm now 25 + 6 weeks, so very nearly 6 months gone! 3 months remaining...

Morning sickness is still very present and I've been reminded of this 4-8 times a day all week.

On the plus side- movements are now very regular and I love them! Much lower down than I remember DC1 being- lots of bladder kicks which are /not/ fun.

Hows everyone else doing with the 3rd trimester?

@LMX0
@CremeDeSudo

How are you two getting along?? Grin

Yay a new moanie thread! I was afraid I'd scared you all off the last one Blush

So 28+5 now. I have new things to moan about! Today I'm mostly missing my boobs. Non underwired bras just have no oomph have they? My boobs are massive but flat! A bit of shape would be nice.

Also, I've had a few comments on my bump being big and low. I was the same on DS, get over it and stop feeling the need to comment please! I was hoping it would be higher this time though. I also get all the kicks in my bladder and low, front of my belly..barely anything up high!

I'm also now starting to feel it in the pelvis area, tops of my thighs. My chiro said last week that everything seemed just that little bit worse Sad

Good things however! I went shopping yesterday and spent £100+ on girls clothes Smile there's so much choice compared to boys! Bit too much pink and frilly stuff for my liking but I enjoyed myself immensely Grin Am also making the most of the weather and washing the hand downs I've got!

lmx0 · 20/04/2018 14:00

@Paie yay a new thread!!! Im now 26+1 so counting down now till im properly in the third trim you poor thing!! I hope it passes soon for you!! Ive had a few evening this week were m/s struck so hoping that its not hanging around for a while

We all seem to be the same babies being low down alot of my movements are low down or to the left side the other day however they were high up and felt strange (lovely all the same) and ive noticed a good pattern the past week or so

@CremeDeSudo ive been missing a underwired bra for ages!!! I feel like ive no boobs as they have no shape to them but the underwired bras are just too uncomfortable!! Ive started to notice my sides are starting to get a bit uncomfortable and deffo feeling a little bit heavier!! Its really hard not to go mad on pink & girly!! I cant wait until i start washing all the baby clothes and get them out on the washing line (hopefully the sun will last a good while!)

Paie · 20/04/2018 14:06

@LMX0
@CremeDeSudo

Don't worry about scaring us off- speaking for myself but I'm in no shape to run away anywhere at any speed Grin

I need to get some new bras! I've currently only got 1 thats fitting at the moment and I'm afraid if I stick it in the wash it might disintegrate/ vanish forever and then I'll be stuck holding my boobs all day- so sore still! I sleep with a super soft blanket wrapped around my chest, anything else just feels like it drags & scrapes on my nips and hurts!

Very jealous of all the baby girl clothes- baby boy clothes don't seem to have much variety! With DD I had so many outfits and dresses that were just gorgeous, now its all trousers and cars and vans! Think I'll be sticking to mainly babygrows for the first few months anyway Smile

All kicks very low down- felt a few on the knicker line the other day- which makes me question why my belly is so big if he's hiding down there?!

29+5 today and currently in the kitchen trying to bake my DH a cake for his 40th Birthday this weekend. It's blinking hot (and that was before I put the oven on) my back is killing me, the fan is broken, the kitchen now looks like a bomb went off in it and I am cursing myself for trying to be the good wife and wishing I had just ordered one from someone else!

lmx0 · 20/04/2018 14:30

@Paie i hear you about sore nips ive had to start wearing a sports bra in bed and i have to be so gentle putting it on otherwise ouchie!!! You could always get your oh to hold them for you!!! 😂 im sure he would be more than willing!!! Ill prob stick to baby grows while she is little altho i only have 0-3 months and i am starting to panic i should have some newborn!!! You can get some nice boys clothes too just need to look harder for them i think they seem to have a fav spot and stick to it dont they?!
@Bluebirdsky you poor thing!!! Wanna swap ill bake the cake and you do the gardening?! Altho i came in for a little rest and drink over half an hour ago..........

Paie · 20/04/2018 14:41

@Bluebirdsky
Welcome to the moany thread Grin
I'd offer to bake that cake for you- but I tried to bake last weekend- made 4 gorgeous sponges but then got fed up with everything being a mess because of my baking and never got around to icing them. So they're off to the bin/ birds Blush

@lmx0 DP has offered to become my bra a few times- I told him for his own safety he should probably avoid that Grin I've been quite snappy this week- think I'm just fed up and feeling really huge- 3 point turns to roll over in bed ect Grin

I have no newborn clothes as of yet- plan on buying a few multipacks of basic onsies and grows and that'll do- I'd rather he had more clothes to grow into :)

CremeDeSudo · 20/04/2018 14:44

@lmx0 Agree underwires are too uncomfy! Tbf, I don't think I'd be happy anyway as they're likely comedy boobs at the moment, so the cleavage would make me uncomfortable too, would just like some shape!

@Paie There's lots of boys stuff around, you just have to find your shop. I'm drawn to the dinosaur stuff everywhere as DS had a dinosaur phase which I much preferred to the current superhero one! I found it hard looking for girls stuff that wasn't too girly but apparently I came into my own in Next Outlet Grin I've bought mostly 0-3, some 3-6 and if I saw bargains in any other size I got that too! Haven't bothered too much with newborn as we still have whites from when DS was born. When he was born it was so hot he was only in vests anyway so hesistant to buy anything more this time as it's the same time of year!

@Bluebirdsky I'm impressed! No way would I have attempted anything that required that much standing up! He'd better appreciate it! Wink

Bluebirdsky · 20/04/2018 14:58

Ha ha @CremeDeSudo I have said the same thing myself more than once today!!

Thanks for the offer @lmx0 but I think I would be as good at gardening as I am at cake baking right now!!

@Paie it's the mess and the constant washing up that is getting to me rather than the actual baking which didn't take that long! My bump is now in between me and the sink which makes things tricky!

CremeDeSudo · 20/04/2018 15:04

Anyone else can't make it through the day without getting their bump dirty somehow? If it's not just water from the washing up it's lunch!

Girlwiththearabstrap · 20/04/2018 15:05

37+2 and too hot! I'm still at work for another week and a bit and I am absolutely fed up of it. Apart from that not feeling too bad, it's just the usual waking frequently at night and an achy back by the end of the day. I'm impatient now though - very conscious that although I'm full term it could still be a while!

FranticallyPeaceful · 20/04/2018 15:14

35 weeks.

Baby pulled out of my pelvis so the pain eased for the first time in a long time and I over did it for a few days and got my first hemmorhoid as a lovely reminder to sit the fuck down.

My boobs sweat, my vagina sweats (????)

It’s a full blown operation to wipe my bum properly now. That’s a good portion of my life gone.

I don’t just get hungry anymore, I get rage-hungry if I don’t have what I feel like in at the time, which continues until I go out and get it.

Moving in bed feels like my entire pelvis is dislocating.

lmx0 · 20/04/2018 15:34

@Paie 😂 good point!! Ive been a bit of a cry baby this week but dh has been a huffy and grumpy fecker this week too so there has been a few arguments (which of course leads to me in tears!) known my luck if i was to buy anything in newborn id have a baby the size of a toddler and she wouldnt get the use out of them!! 😂 @Bluebirdsky if he doesn't appreciate all your effort send the cake our way im sure us ladies would!!! Im no gardener i just like to have it tidy but im dome for the day dh can finish it tomorrow!!
@Girlwiththearabstrap i dont know you manage it but well done you!! @FranticallyPeaceful 😂 yipp everything sweats!!! And ouch!!!

Honey456 · 20/04/2018 16:23

Love this!

I am 30 weeks on Monday. Actually doing okay so far. People at work have started commenting on how ‘massive’ I am. So I decided to embrace it, actually quite like it now with my maternity floral dresses!

Just started NCT and that was interesting... starting to get very real now. :)

Honey456 · 20/04/2018 16:24

Haha me too! I also forget it’s there and keep bumping it on the sink etc.

FranticallyPeaceful · 20/04/2018 16:28

I have small bruises all over the front of my bump :/ door handles, tables, all sorts.

Talking of a dirty bump, has anybody noticed the increased amount of boobie-crumbs during pregnancy?! Not used to this size boobs, either my cleavage catches the crumbs or my bump does.

Graceful as fuck. The lot of us. glows

lmx0 · 20/04/2018 16:43

@FranticallyPeaceful boobie crumbs!!! YES!! My bra always seems full of crumbs or hair (im a hairdresser!) 100% agree 😂

Katyx3 · 20/04/2018 17:13

sloths on to the thread

28+5 FTM

Suffered HG but havent been sick since last Thursday, hooorah! But last Thursday did tear my muscle away from my ribs on right side, thus causing me a trip to hospital on Tuesday due to it possibly being pre eclampsia eye roll

People telling me I'm big already, midwife saying I'm measuring small annoyed glare

Wanting to do everything and nothing at the same time whilst having dreams about killing people shocked grunt

No one told me it would be like this, roll on July WineWink

lmx0 · 20/04/2018 17:17

@Katyx3 oh you poor thing!!!! I think you will deserve a very large 🍾🍷!!!

Katyx3 · 20/04/2018 17:26

Yes a very large bottle Grin

lucythecastle · 20/04/2018 17:28

I am 40w +4 today and so over this weather 😩

lmx0 · 20/04/2018 17:35

@lucythecastle oh you poor thing i hope baby comes very soon!!!

pumpkinmamma · 20/04/2018 17:38

37+3 today, and managed to knock over something at work on to the floor, huge mess. Lovelu colleague then cleaned it up for me because my belly is too big to allow for picking things off the floor. Too hot, always hungry but don’t want to eat because of the bloody heartburn, every other person telling me I look “tiny” or “massive”. So excited to meet this baby and become a parent but I swear nobody tells you quite how annoyed you’ll become with everything!

I found a money spider between my boobs earlier- surely that must equate to a lottery win!

@Katy omg that sounds awful! Makes me feel bad for moaning!

Welcome all newcomers

CremeDeSudo · 20/04/2018 18:07

I didn't anticipate how much I would hate pregnancy with DS. All I had from my Mum was 'well I was ok with you three!' Well I'm bloody well not Mum so good for you!

Fortunately this time isn't as bad. I think a combination of pre-emptive chiropractor visits and knowing how to tackle the bloating this time round. Still looking forward to the baby arriving though and never doing this again!

One thing I've read is that when you've had an awful pregnancy the shock of the baby isn't so bad because you're just so bloody grateful you're not pregnant anymore! It was certainly true in my case!

Katyx3 · 20/04/2018 18:16

Oh that little ditty is nothing and just my complaints of the hour, I have had thee worst time and me and pregnancy are really not fecking mates. I wish the stalk brought them and I never thought I would be like this! Hmm
