So I'm 28 weeks tomorrow and my lo doesn't have this pattern of movements that everyone talks about? She moves around as and when she wants I feel as every day is different from the next , is this okay ? she moves a lot throughout each day just not what I would call a pattern basically

My bub was the same, just moved around as and when, somedays he'd have a quiet morning, other times wriggling like mad! He developed more of a pattern throughout the 30ish weeks, still going now even at 40+13 :0

Same here, and some days she's quiet which drives me mad. I've never been able to work out a pattern but 39 weeks now and she's fine 😊

I used to spend so much time worrying as everyone, including midwives told me there should be a pattern!

Mine had her complete own agenda. Even now she does as she pleases and generally just flops around the bed like a fish through the night, so, no patterns here!

I'm 28 weeks Tuesday and my baby is the same! Her 'pattern' seems to just be just to do what she wants, when she feels like it!
I got really worked up about it a few weeks ago as some days she's really lively, then others she's really quiet and I couldn't work out what they meant buy reduced movements. After speaking to the midwife and a midwife at triage, I have taken the advice of patterns are just what they usually do, and you just need to worry if its unusual for them. I must admit I have been much more relaxed about it now I am realising that quiet days are normal for her.

Neither do my babies and I'm 34 weeks.

Sometimes they have a sort of pattern for a week or so and then it changes again.

Totally infuriating and I get asked at every appointment if I can definitely feel both babies. Well I'm pretty sure but without being able to see it's hard to be definite!

I'm 35 weeks and I can't say I recognise a pattern! She seems to move all day, like loads! And then some days she has more quiet periods throughout the day. I mentioned this to my midwife and she said that as long as in feeling regular movement it's fine!

Movement has been my biggest stresser I've been in twice for reduced movement (37+5) and both times she's started kicking like mad as soon as they put the sensor on. The only pattern I can figure out is that she has a mad three or four days and then a couple quiet ones. Then I realised all the days I stress are the days my husband works, he does 4 on and 4 off so some weekends, and I don't talk to anyone until he gets home and she starts kicking. I think she starts when she hears our voices.
I brought an abacus bracelet from etsy it's been amazing you just slide a bead over when you feel a period of movement not just a kick but a few movements in a row. If you get to the end of the day and panic that you haven't felt baby then you can check the bracelet and see how many times you moved it. Makes me feel better :)

I'm also nearly 28 weeks and the same! I'll have a few days of huge movements and then a couple where he's a lot quieter. It would be so nice to have a pattern.

My DD was the same pretty much all the way through, but I put that down to having an anterior placenta. It's on the left side this time so I'm not sure why!
