Raspberry leaf tea and evening primrose oil advice?

Hi ladies,
I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant and am starting to think about purchasing raspberry leaf tea and evening primrose oil but am not sure when to start taking them, good brands and quantities etc (advice online is all different). I wasn't planning on doing anything until around 36 weeks but am interested to see what any of you ladies are doing or did with previous pregnancies? I know they may do nothing but what's the harm in naturally trying to prepare your body for labour? :)

Thanks!

I took 3 raspberry leaf tea tablets (couldn't stand the actual tea itself!) and 3 evening primrose oil capsules 3 times a day from 38 weeks. My baby arrived within an hour and a half of my waters breaking at 40+2! I had a really positive labour which I'm sure is down to the fact it only lasted 90 minutes!!

I also did a LOT of walking (10k a day!) and when I wasn't out walking I was bouncing on my exercise ball!

I started drinking the RLT from my third trimester I think. I read advice somewhere that said to start on one cup a day then increase? I really liked it.

EPO I can't remember when, probably as early as I could as I was desparate to not be pregnant anymore! I did orally and one up the foof at night!

My waters went bang on 39wks and DS arrives 39+1 x

Did you wait until 38 weeks to insert EPO as well as orally? So much different advice online it's hard to know haha!

Both of mine were overdue, both pregnancies induced, however both labours were relatively “short” for inductions.

I can’t remember when I started on the raspberry leaf tea, but I started at 1 cup then increased as I got nearer/past due date.

I have no idea if it helped or not!

Just keep moving - in pregnancy and in labour! Baby will come when they are ready!

I can't remember when I started the epo, it was 5 yrs ago now! I can tell you it was as soon as I was allowed to though! Perhaps 37wks?

Raspberry leaf extract(tablets)for the last 4 weeks and both labours were a few days early and short!
