rebeccac29 Sat 10-Mar-18 07:32:03

Would a pregnacy be postive if i am ovlationing

NotTakenUsername Sat 10-Mar-18 07:37:18

You won’t be ovulating if you are at the poas stage. When was your last period?

NotTakenUsername Sat 10-Mar-18 07:38:38

Sooty, to answer your question - an ovulation test may read positive if you are pregnant but not the other way around.

NotTakenUsername Sat 10-Mar-18 07:38:57

Sorry, not sooty. hmm

flippityfloppity Sat 10-Mar-18 07:55:47

I missed jan period and then started bleeding on 23rd feb for 2 days and then brown discharge for 3 days i thought i thought i had misscarried but got postive 3 days now in time limit just not sure what to think

NotTakenUsername Sat 10-Mar-18 07:59:26

I don’t know and I’m not sure anyone here can do more than guess. It might have to be a wait an see situation.

The tests do look positive to me. Is the slight colour in them like it seems from the photo?

rebeccac29 Sat 10-Mar-18 08:04:45

Yes they defo have colour in them just dont think camera is best at picking it up just dont wanna get my hopes up

NotTakenUsername Sat 10-Mar-18 08:09:17

With what you have said I would recommend you don’t get your hopes up just yet.

Contact the doctor and tell them what you have told here. Hopefully they will give you a better idea of what might be happening.

I hope it is happy news!

rebeccac29 Sat 10-Mar-18 08:18:16

My docs are so rubbish they dont help you at all

rebeccac29 Sat 10-Mar-18 08:19:45

This is a strip one i have just done

NotTakenUsername Sat 10-Mar-18 08:30:05

I changed doctors at the start of my first pregnancy for similar reasons. Check if there is anything else available in your catchment area. They aren’t all equal.

rebeccac29 Sat 10-Mar-18 08:31:47

There isn't any others and no female doctors i dont think the male ones understand

NotTakenUsername Sat 10-Mar-18 08:35:39

I genuinely don’t mean to be sharp, but they don’t need to understand. They just need to give you medical advice.

I’ve met unsympathetic female doctors and supportive male doctors.

rebeccac29 Sat 10-Mar-18 08:40:02

Well might just see if gets any darker

NotTakenUsername Sat 10-Mar-18 08:41:35

Hopefully. It looks like it’s heading that way. I hope you get happy news.

rebeccac29 Sat 10-Mar-18 08:43:00

Thank you for your help and advice

paz1234 Sat 10-Mar-18 21:10:35

That's defiantly a line it's quite rare to get one false positive . . Try a clear blue test it'll probably tell you for definite .. good luck
