PCOS and pregnancy

I have pcos and had a mc 17 months ago - it didn’t develop beyond a sac. I then barely ovulated and struggled with pcos and had ovarian drilling. One month later and I’m pregnant, which is great, but I’m petrified. Will my pcos stop this one developing too? Has anyone else barely ovulated then gone onto have a successful pregnancy?

Hiya

Yeah I have PCOS and it took us 10yrs to conceive naturally before having dd1 and I'm now pregnant again with no help.

Are you on ant medication for pcos such as metaformin?

Probably heard this all about weight loss or gain is good, multivitamins etc.

We didn't meet criteria for IVF or Clomid (glasgow is very strict) so both our babies are very much surprises.

Thanks so much for answering, not on any medication as the consultant wanted us to try for three months after the drilling before potentially going on clomid in April.

Am only 126 lbs so I’m lucky that pcos never really affected my weight, I hope this one sticks so much. Congratulations on your lovely surprise!

A lady told me once pcos won't effect and be the cause of a miscarriage it makes it difficult to conceive as every month you may not produce an egg. So the fact you've fallen pregnant is a good sign! Congratulations p.s I have PCOS I had a miscarriage I could only blame myself for the loss of my baby but it's not PCOS it's natural taking its side saying now is not your time and I'm pregnant again! Wish you all the best of luck!
