30+1 and 3/5 engaged...

This is my second pregnancy so from everything I've read the fact that he's partially engaged doesn't mean much and he can pop in and out but the midwife seemed quite surprised by it, which I think is what's shaken me!

I'm booked in for an ELCS at 39+1 and have agreed to a vbac if I go into spontaneous labour but i was 10days overdue with my first so I didn't take the idea too seriously since I figure the chances were so long and now I'm having a mild panic about it. 😂

Can someone please reassure me that baby engaging so early doesn't mean I'll go into early labour please? Grin

Im the opposite, 39 weeks and apparently only 1/5 engaged so I'm hoping that this doesn't mean im gonna be waiting forever! My sonographer told me both her babys were engaged from 35 weeks and they both still needed inducing at 42 weeks so I don't think it means much.
Fingers crossed you get your section lol!

My DD was almost fully engaged at 32 weeks, I had a soft cervix that had been shortening and she still stayed in until 40+5 , hope that reassures you
