Anyone pregnant after early ovulation?

Just that really. Just started ttc and two cycles in noticed I’m getting opk peaks early. Cd 10 last month and Cd 9 this month.

I’m 40 and don't have time to muck around lol so wondering if it’s going to be a big issue and if I should go to Drs now or not. Last cycle was 27 days.

So could you hel me gauge the size of the issue please? Anyone out there get peaks early and still pregnant?

The peak only shows that you are leading up to ovulation. With a 27 day cycle and a positive around cd 10, it's more likely you are actually ovulation around cd 12/13.

Don't forget the positive opk is only indicating you are gearing up to ovulate. Some people have more than one peak.

Are you temping? If you temp, you can confirm for sure when you are ovulating.

Either way, none of this sounds like a problem. You are ovulating and your leuteul phase is well over 9 days which is usually the cut off for causing implantation problems. Just make sure you are shagging enough leading up to ovulation and just after to make sure you have it covered. I'd recommend SMEP for timing - have a google of that!

Thank you Spugz. I’m kind of hoping it means I ovulate a few days later too. Shagging anyway lol.

Googled SMEP. That’s useful to know thank you.

Luckily we’re half way there anyway. Told the other half yesterday I intended to wear him out this week ;)

I have short cycles and ovulate on cd8-10. Have one DS and pregnant now. Good luck!

I asked my dr about this a few months back as I have short and irregular cycles; her response was that if you are ovulating then it's always possible to conceive. 21 weeks pregnant now so in my case she was right!

Don’t worry, karigan - there’s always something to worry about when TTC! All the best of luck.
