Hello I'm hoping someone could help me work out how far along I am (definitely due September!) I had my last 'proper' period on 4th December-9th December, then had another bleed 14th December-17th December, so would I go by the 4th or the 14th?
Thanks ladies 😁

Would you say that the bleed you had on the 14th Dec was like a proper period. Or lighter. And are your periods usually regular or always like that x

It wasn't heavy but it wasn't spotting either. Was really odd! My periods are usually regular.

I'd go by 4th until your dating scan.

Agreed I would go by the 4th until you have any reason to believe that's not the right date. But I'd be honest with your midwife that you don't really know for sure. Personally, if it was me, I'd book myself in for an early scan and get a firm date, but I would expect you're coming up on the point when you should be getting your 12 week scan appt soon anyway as that would make you 9 weeks now.

When did you find out about your pregnancy? That might give some indication as well.

Yes when did you test? Did you get a strong positive straight away?

I took my first test on 16th January which showed a faint positive- going by 4th December for last period I would have been 6 weeks, then I did a test again a few days later and it was a strong positive. Haven't heard from the midwife yet, hoping she calls soon!
Thank you for all the help 😁
