When did everyone get a bump that they noticed and then when did others notice it?

They say you start to show earlier with each pregnancy. I normally notice a bump from 12 weeks but other people won't notice untill later.

18 weeks for me. 2/4 weeks later for most people. Although with it being winter and wearing baggy jumpers and scarves a lot of people haven't noticed until very recently (34 weeks now). It's my first.

With my first I had bump from 24ish weeks, although those who didn't know didn't notice until the end. This time round I could feel it from 13 weeks, but obviously it wasn't noticeable to others. I think people (mums on school run etc) started to realise around 28 weeks this time round.

It’s hard to say because I started podging out at like 8 weeks this time (not the baby, just pure bloat). But I remember at 15 weeks I woke up and my belly had gone POP! And it was like I was looking at somebody else’s stomach. Popped around 15-16 weeks with all of my pregnancies but I bloat earlier every time

Both times I felt bloated from about 10 weeks, got a little bump that only I noticed by 14 weeks, others noticed by 16 weeks.

First was about 16/18 weeks - and 3rd baby by about 6 weeks I was already in maternity trousers!!! Obviously no stomach muscles left by the 3rd baby - I was sure everyone would notice and comment - but I just made sure I wore baggy tops.

I'm a first time mum and didn't show until about 24 weeks. I did lose two stone because of hyperemesis but I wasn't small to start off with.

24 weeks here. No bump but have been bloated/ thickened waist for a while.
No bump is helpful as it means I haven't had to tell colleagues, hoping to get to 6 months at least before that (manager has known for a while).

I remember going for my first ob appointment at 10+5 after a horrendous month in PJs at home and my jeans didn't really close properly anymore so I wore dresses after that until I bought maternity trousers at around 12 weeks.

Other people didn't notice until I was about 30 weeks though.

I was size 14 prior to pregnancy and my bump never appeared 😥 but my daughter was back to back position so that is why I never had the lovely bump... Its all about your shape and how baby is laying! An amazing experience never the less 😄 enjoy every moment

About 20 weeks, first pregnancy. Usually size 14. It's still only very small at 22 weeks

I think I started getting a tiny bump that was noticeable to DH and I from about 16 weeks? I was a size 8-10 though and so that probably made it easier to see. It was only tiny though. I'm now 21 weeks and it's more like a proper bump and I think it's noticeable to other people now but not had anyone comment on it (not that I'd want them to like) so not really sure, but even now it depends what I'm wearing. If I wear a big, loose jumper with loose-fitting trousers with an elasticated waist you still can't see it at all, but if I wear a clingy top or dress then you can.

This is my first pregnancy btw. I should have said I actually lost weight at first due to HG so that might have influenced it as well, making it easier to see. I only went back to my pre-pregnancy weight at around 19 weeks and obviously some of that weight will be baby/fluid etc (and my boobs - gone up a cup size) so I'm probably still ever so slightly slimmer than before if you factor that stuff out.

My first was around 15-16 weeks, moreso in the evenings. I was extremely thin before I got pregnant, though.

I'm currently 17weeks with DC2 and have a definite bump, again more in the evenings but there all the time. It's been noticeable for a couple of weeks, depending on what I'm wearing. I'm still generally thin but not as much as I was before DD1!

I started to look a little bloated around 16 weeks. Didn't really have a 'bump' till around 24 weeks Smile

By 12 weeks people started to wonder, by 14 weeks it was obvious

I noticed on myself from very early, probably about 10 weeks, I was very slim so I don't know if that made the difference. But the first person that noticed was a passenger on a plane on our way home from Rome when I was 14 weeks - a lady randomly commented ahhh look she's got a babbie and asked me how far I was

I started to show at 3 months more or less. Some people noticed, but I don't think anyone asked then.

8 weeks this time! Fourth pregnancy but only the second to get that far.

I can't remember with DS but it seemed like ages to wait.

Around 16 weeks with DS1. With DS2 it was pretty obvious by around 12/14 weeks. I’m 22 weeks now and people are shocked I’m not due until June.

Obvious bump (in tight clothes) at 16 weeks. Obvious to me/ DH from 8 weeks.

First baby.

I was size 6 with a completely flat stomach pre-pregnancy though.

Wow varies quite a bit. I think I have a little bump at 10 weeks but it could be bloating so really interesting to tell. My clothes feel pretty tight around the waist and looser on the legs and I am a pear shape so this is not normal x
