How are you today ladies? I have no sickness and I am slightly worried there's something wrong... especially that both my mum and my sister had exorcist style issues from earlier on, mum literally from the beginning...

Anyone else not sick at around 7w + 4?

Me @pinkypromise. I am 8 + 4 and haven’t been sick at all. For a long time I was nauseous every day, especially in the evenings, but that seems to be waning now as well, I felt horrendous on Friday but haven’t really had much nausea since then.

TBH I am starting to worry a bit, nausea seems to be easing, boob tenderness is easing, if it wasn’t for the extreme fatigue and the constipation I wouldn’t even think I was pregnant.

I have another scan on Thursday so am trying to keep a lid on the panic until then and try to see myself as lucky (but it’s getting difficult) for not being worse

Morning ladies
I didn't have any sickness with my first pregnancy just felt nauseous in the beginning.
I haven't had what I think is alot of sickness with this one but been feeling really nauseous. Was really sick with my 2nd pregnancy and lost a stone in weight within 1mth.

@scoobysue10, I keep telling myself i’m lucky I haven’t been sick and I think when I was having nausea, even when mild, it reassured me but now it seems to be leaving I am worried. Just have to keep the worry to a minimum until Thursday and fingers crossed my scan will reassure me again (not that it worked for too long last time).

Same here @Snowy! It's not bad nausea... it gets worse int he evenings especially but haven't actually been sick so slightly worried and my boobs are not as tender anymore...

Fingers crossed for Thursday then hun! xXx

@Scoobysue ok that's reassuring there's more people that have not had sickness...

@pinkypromise, although my boobs aren’t really tender they do feel harder than normal just not sore with it, so am getting a bit of reassurance from that

Morning all! Good news..the nausea has eased off (and first scan is booked for the 23rd Feb). Bad news....its been replaced by a stinking cold. 🤧

PinkyPromise77 · 30/01/2018 10:45

Ohhh @Fluffy sorry to hear that hun... what can we take for colds? We are pretty screwed when it comes to colds, aren't we? heheeh is it just paracetamol that is reasonably safe and that's all?

From what I've read there's nothing we can take 😣 thought I might get away with just inhaling vicks, but nope, the camphor in it is a no no.

PinkyPromise77 · 30/01/2018 11:04

Oh man... that really sucks @Fluffy... hope you feel better soon! x

Hey guys, when I asked my midwife about symptoms she said they can come and go and that's normal so I would try not to worry, I was so sick from 6 weeks then the week before last it was better so I panicked then it has come back worse then ever the last week and this week I feel sick most of the day yesterday was the worst day, the problem is the food aversions I just don't want anything other then crumpets lol 😂, not feeling much better today either.

@helen290, am starting to wish I had some food aversions, I just want to eat everything at the minute, especially surgery things (think the exhaustion is making me crave the sugar rush)

Hi all,
I'm 8wks 5 days and my symptoms come and go all the time. The main thing this week is my trousers no longer fit! I can't breathe in if that makes sense?

Is anyone else feeling this stage is taking FOREVER?

Report
Helen290 · 30/01/2018 11:57

@snowy1982 you don't it's horrible because you know your hungry but everything just sounds awful me and husband are having to have separate meals I'm picking up some meals from M&S just so it's a bit healthier then takeaways not that I fancy a takeaway anyway lol, I thought by 10 weeks if you have sickness it should start to get better as the placenta starts to take over lol I'm in my 10th week and it's been the worse week lol!! .

Report
Helen290 · 30/01/2018 11:58

@Hardheadedwoman39 yes it feels like forever!!! I am in my 10th week and it's dragging only two weeks ish to go till my 12 week scan 🙂.

I wish I was like some of you and had no sickness or nausea. It's really getting me down now, today is a bad day though. I'm on cyclizine for tablets but it's not helping me at all. This is my 3rd dc and I was like this with my other 2 aswell so I knew what to expect. I literally cannot leave the house except take dc to and from school which I can just about manage x

Hi again everyone! No sickness here yet either, I’m 5+4. I’ve got incredibly sore boobs and nipples and increased discharge (tmi) x

Hey guys, I've gone from having to eat all the time in order to not feel sick. To not wanting food at all because I feel sick😭😭😭

Report

@PinkyPromise77 I've had no sickness either. I'm 7 weeks and 2 days. Touch wood it stays that way as I wouldn't cope very well with it. The girlfriend or a work colleague is 15 weeks and has only been sick twice apparently, I'm aiming to beat her with 0.
