Pain in thigh and bum cheek

I am pretty clumsy and walked into a table at work yesterday and properly bashed by knee, can feel the lump beginning to appear! This morning I have struggled walking after having been sat down as have had a pain kind of radiating down from my bum cheek down my thigh and leg. Not sure if this is linked to my clumsiness or another lovely pregnancy thing? Thoughts?

Sounds like sciatica.

Totally agree, it’s very likely to be sciatica, I had it in my second trimester.

Another vote for sciatica. It’s bloody awful! I found it helped not to sit for too long and keep moving.

Another vote for sciatica I’m afraid. I’ve had it since only 4.5weeks pregnant and the doctor told me yest there’s a good chance it will continue for the rest of my pregnancy. This led to me sobbing in the car 😭 However I have a history of it pre-pregnancy also so might be different for me.

You can use a tens for sciatica and it works fantastically. Especially as you say you are pregnant and won't be able to take much in the way of pain relief.

Thanks very much folks, hope its just a passing thing! I have my 16 week mid wife appointment next week so will mention it then if it hasn't cleared up
