What gestation was your 2nd DC born at?

Pregnant with DC No2. DC No1 was a week late and that was after a few sweeps. Just being nosey really

Second DC was born at 40+4

First was born at 38+3

It's probably irrelevant tbh. Your baby will come when it's good and ready.

I'd get the essentials done like a hospital bag but at 32 weeks, I was fairly unprepared.

@ShowOfHands I know No2 will come when ready. I have friends who are due within a few weeks of me and they seem far more organised than I am.

I've chucked a few bits in a bag as I've come across them but not actively packed anything IYSWIM? eg I came across a box of maternity pads from DC1, brought some massive granny pants when in Asda the other week for post birth but not really put anything together

Second 39+4, set off by catching toddler going down a hill on his scooter and for once he didn't brake

Both times I didn't take much. But left a pile of things for DH to bring in for me if necessary.

Second birth I was only in hospital for 2 hours before giving birth.

First was 39+4 my second threatened to come early from 26 weeks but hung in till his due date when I had been induced the night before so came bang on 40 weeks but if they hadn’t intervened I dare say he may have stayed put longer.
I really need to pack my bag but it’s one of those do it tomorrow jobs that never get done

I am 31 weeks with second and feeling exactly the same only really just started thinking maybe I should buy some pads etc and when is too early to pack and do some washing etc my first was born 40+4 and I am thinking ahhhh I have loads of time no need to worry but There's something in me saying I should probably just get it done now then it's done as the time/weeks seems to be running away from me a lot at the mo with my nearly two year old to run around after is very different this time round poor baby is a little of an after thought so keep thinking should get stuff readyish in next few weeks so it's done incase I forget or get to tired to think about it! Don't get me wrong I would love this one to evacuate as early as possible as pregnancy has just been horrible compared to the breeze I had with my first (still have morning sickness, am anaemic and now have SPD as well as all the other pregnancy exhaustion and unpleasantries) I feel this baby is going to stick around in there as long as it possibly can just to torment me that much longer haha!
