Give me all the sugar!

All I want is chocolate, ice cream, biscuits, donuts, cakes and more chocolate!!

Coming from someone who is usually a savoury person, I'm shocked by this sudden sugar addiction. I ate a large bar fruit and nut today and now I'm craving a McFlurry. Will this go away? I'm only 27 weeks and not sure this amount of sugar consumption can continue until the end.

No advice but I’m exactly the same! I’m 24 weeks and can’t get enough of sugar.

Interesting. I've normally got a really sweet truth but anything sugary, chocolate, cake, dessert, makes me really queasy. Am eating lots of hoolahoops and debating if I need a trip to the fish and chip shop for tea.

Me too. My colleague keeps saying I must be expecting a girl - old wives tale but who knows!

I was like this like 24-29 weeks then appetite dropped off massively now 31 weeks and it's pretty much gone! I was the same last time with my daughter. I think you start to run out of room! Haha I am normally more of a sweet tooth but this time been a real mix nuts, chocolate and crisps (I never normally eat crisps!) were my worst! Now am just getting to big and uncomfortable it's like food has dropped off my radar!

I was like this! It went away for a few weeks and am now 38weeks and it’s back in full force!! I’m too miserable and uncomfortable to care about cutting down though. I mentioned to my Mum I should probably stop eating all this crap and she said ‘Take a pregnacare, eat what you want and stop bloody worrying’ so I’m taking her advice Grin

Mines a boy so that blows that theory!

I ate three ham donuts in a row the other day. Yesterday I ate the remaining two Blush

I had a massive sweet tooth, to the point I would rip someone’s arm off for the last Chocolate bar! But throughout my pregnancy I’ve really wanted crisps! Was never interested in them before, but now 🤤 I’m 35+3 and it’s been that way since about 13wks

@Ekphrasis what are these ham doughnuts of which you speak? 😂

I had mc Donald's cheese burgers for about 4 weeks straight with my boy!! If ever there was a time to not care it's when your growing a tiny human.

I’m like this. But had to stop today as having tomorrow urine test and if Gloucose is positive then I’ll be tested for gestational diabetes. Opened the cupboard and found loads of full of sweet products. Hope I can have them tomorrow night otherwise I’ll need to hide them :(

28w btw

I've had the total opposite - I'm normally the biggest sweet tooth out there but since I've been pregnant I've been all about salty food! Mostly salt & vinegar crisps and green olives. Really odd isn't it?
