All you can do is wait and see. Are you saying they scanned you at 4 weeks!?

Are you 4 weeks pregnant or are you 4 weeks since conception (6 weeks)?

Would be 4-5 weeks since last period I had scan as I had a miscarriage recently so considered high risk and had some pain and spotting

I wouldn't expect them to see much on a scan at 4 weeks (usually the earliest an Early Pregnancy Unit will scan is around the 6 week mark) so I wouldn't let that side of things bother you.

I know it's tough but you really need to wait a little longer and just see how but things pan out. It is such early days.

I know :( it’s not so much the scan that’s bothering me as they did say my womb lining had thickened but my bloods have started to worry me as the nurse told me as if it is bad news and to expect w miscarriage. I’ve already had 2 miscarriages before so, losing hope

I am really sorry for your previous losses; as the others have said unfortunately there is nothing else that can be done other than watching and waiting to see how things progress. I know that must be incredibly difficult for you given what has already happened but try to stay positive about this pregnancy for now if you can.

Sorry that you're having such a tough time. I had three losses (two at 5 weeks so not so awful, and one at 12 weeks). After my third MC I asked my GP if we could run some blood tests and discovered a blood clotting issue. Aspirin and heparin did the trick and I managed to keep my next pregnancy.

IF this one doesn't work out make sure you ask for testing either at the EPU or GP.
