I dont remember being this bad with my 1st, haven't actually been sick just a constant feeling and gagging!

Please does anyone have any tips to help?!

Carbs, vitamin B6, travel sickness bands. Keep hydrated.

This is how I felt last week! I switched taking my vitamins to the evening, rather than the morning and it's coincided with my sickness being much better in the day. (I'm hoping that this is why it's better anyway and nothing else). I found that resting a lot helped if you can, snacking on mango and some salty foods helped a little too.

This is interesting, as I genuinely now wonder whether it's behind some (not all, of course, by a long way!) morning sickness. I also found that when I started taking prenatal vitamins they made me feel really sick if I took them first thing in the morning and so switched to taking them last thing before bed (my ones do also say on them that you should take them with a main meal, ie not on an empty stomach) - but that was ages before I was pregnant, so I'd figured it out long before. I suppose if I'd been pregnant when I'd started taking them I might have just assumed it was morning sickness and never connected it to the vitamins.

Me too. 7w and I feel awful all the time - really struggling to work. I have ordered some travel sickness bands. Would pregnacare have B6 in it or do you take that in addition noodles?

I feel sick when I don’t eat and sick when I do. Currently drinking a smoothie so I at least eat some fruit and veg. Seems to be going down OK.

I am delighted to be pregnant but I do feel awful. Watching with interest!

I switched at the weekend because we had friends coming and I didn't want to feel horrible, it seemed to work even though I didn't make the connection (stupidly) until now. I don't feel particularly nauseous at the minute so it must make a difference! Mine also say to take them with a main meal but I was taking them with breakfast.

I have been worried that there was another reason for my nausea fading but as it happened because I did this, I am hoping this is the reason!

I also agree with the carbs. They seem to help me too!

Another one in the same boat here... I'm 7+6 and being sick most mornings when I get up, then spend all day at work feeling nauseous.

Feel sick when I don't eat, but sick at the thought of eating too and have to work up to being able to face food. I feel momentarily better when I do manage to eat, and then feel sick again.

After 2 weeks of it I'm starting to feel pretty sorry for myself today, I won't lie! So fed up of being sick when I get out of bed in the morning, and then having to spend ages forcing myself to eat bland, boring food. I'm pretty much living on apples, dry cream crackers, and baked potatoes!

So happy to be pregnant, and I know plenty of others have it far worse so just trying to get on with things and hope it passes soon - roll on Christmas holidays from work when at least I don't have to hide how shit I feel all day long!

Hi! I have nausea all day, every day. From the minute I wake up to the minute I go to sleep. There is NOTHING that I want to eat at all to the point where I had a salad for my starter and a salad for my main at a work lunch today. And I still felt sick. Went to Waitrose and only thing I wanted to eat in the whole place was crunch nut cornflakes and melon. Went off the melon the minute I got home and built up the courage for an hour to pack in half a bowl of crunchy nut. Sigh. The bloat is also unreal. I look full term by the end of the day! I hate it.

Thanks for the replies, i have been taking the folic acid with my evening meal.

I was sick first time this morning, i just want to stay in bed but with older child at school not possible :(
Going to try the band's! And B6.

FE1984 I am like that, if i don't eat what i fancy straight away i go right off the idea.

Hopefully this will ease in next few weeks, i know i shouldn't complain but its just really getting me down. No energy and just want to sleep.

It might be worth switching your vitamins too. I was taking Tesco folic acid, thinking they were all the same, apparently they aren't. I ended up being switched to one from my doctor. There was my much vitamin b in the ones I was taking.

I still suffer with HG but found the sickness slightly more bare able.

I have migrated from just nausea to nausea ALL THE TIME and throwing up on and off all day. I just threw up so hard I wet myself. And I had literally just been to the loo. I now have the shakes and feel like I've got flu. I cannot stop burping. And the bloat. Oh my days.

Please, please, tell me there are others out there going through this horrific-ness?

If they told the truth in sex ed I bet underage pregnancy rates would drop.

What are you ladies eating? There is still NOTHING that I want to touch or can keep down. I'm at my wits end.
