High platelets in pregnancy

Hi just wondering if anyone else has had this, mine were at 465 (top end of normal level is 450) at my booking in apt had them redone at like 16 weeks but only got the results today at my 25 week apt and they were at 500 back then so seem to be increasing, god know 10 weeks later what they might be. I have a consultant apt on Monday morning and my midwife has put in my notes to discuss this then and will have 28 week bloods done in a few weeks. I am just wondering if anyone has experienced this or if there will be anything done about it the midwife didn't really know.
Thanks!

Your consultant will hopefully arange for a test that allows platelets to be counted by a real person not a machine. My friend had this- it was called platelet clumping. On the whole nothing to be worried about, just seems to baffle those who know nothing about it. Friend had a straight forward normal birth.
