Due Feb 2018? Come this way!

I've been searching MN for a Feb 2018 pregnancy thread and can't seem to find one so thought I'd start one up if anybody wanted to join in?

I'm due DS2 on Feb 12th, DS1 turned 5 in October and is very excited for his baby brother to arrive.

Feeling a bit unprepared at the moment as we're trying to cover Christmas and buying baby things as well which is proving a bit difficult, hoping the January sales might give me a kick up the bum!

Anybody else out there? Grin

Hi

I am a FTM and baby due 4th feb! 31 weeks tomorrow. We don’t know if it’s a DS or DD yet. Having a surprise.

Starting to feel VERY pregnant now and slowing down. Had it quite lucky up until this stage

Xx

Hey! I'm due 17th Feb, first baby.

There was a thread in here for babies due in Feb, it got huge and they all moved to a Facebook group. I couldn't keep up and didn't make the move to fb!

It's nice to have a new one going on here too.

I'm moving house a week on Monday, Just had a man with a van here clearing all the years of crap out of the garage. Bagging more rubbish and stuff for charity shop from the house now.

As soon as we get into new house I will get organised for the baby! We have quite a bit of stuff bought, it's all piled up ready to move.

Me! Due on 5th and this week I have begun to feel MASSIVE. I'm slightly prepared but there's a hell of a lot more to do/get and it's dawned on me that I only have 6 more weeks of work until my mat leave starts. It's all become very real now Smile

I can understand that feeling massive feeling! The last couple of weeks I've started to feel it and people are saying "you're huge aren't you!" Thanks!!

I'd lost 7 stone on Slimming World leading up to this pregnancy so I'm finding it hard to get my head around the weight gain again but I'm sure I've done it once so can just lost it again once baby has arrived!

It's nice to see a few others due around the same time, I'm normally a complete thread killer but hopefully this one should continue if there's enough of us!

Same flip - lost 25kg in 2014 and have gained that all back in pregnancy. Luckily I didn't throw any of my 'fat' bras away, they have been incredibly useful! I did have a cry looking at my holiday photos from Jan the other day 😭

Due 15th Feb with my first, and completing on our house (hopefully) on 5th Jan. At least I don't have to lift any boxes?

Not that I'm saying I suddenly got a really painful pile or anything... but germaloids cream is safe in pregnancy and really soothes. Just in case it's relevant.

Hello all,
Congratulations to us all!
If working, when is everyone planning to take maternity leave from? I was planning to take a weeks holiday from 37 weeks, with mat leave kicking in from 38 weeks. However, I'm beginning to struggle - and now debating going earlier...

Hello! I'm due 22nd Feb, starting to feel very big already and like every movement is a struggle. Can't wait to finish work at the end of Jan. Pregnancy has been really hard for me as I've had horrible sickness throughout. Thankfully that's starting to ease up a bit now. It's all starting to feel a lot more real!

Hey,
I'm due 3rd Feb with my first baby (we've been confidently told a boy!).

Feeling pretty big and properly pregnant now, if that makes sense! I'm finishing work New Years Eve (34 weeks I think?) Then tagging on 2 weeks holiday to take me to mid Jan before official maternity leave - I work in retail with a longish commute so going a bit early once Christmas is put the way! Plus my mum had her babies at 36 and 38 weeks so you never know!

Doing very badly at getting things though... we have a moses basket and clothes (mainly from family!) but that's it so far!

Hello! I'm booked in for a planned c section on 6th Feb with my second baby. It all starting to feel very real now and I am getting quite excited. Slightly terrified that I am going to have a newborn baby and a 19 month old but hey!!

Planing to start sorting through all the baby stuff in next couple of weeks to work out if I need to get anything new. Don't know gender so will wash and sort all the gender neutral stuff as I have plenty in newborn size as first baby was a surprise too (we have a daughter).

Lovely to hear from about all the other February mamas!

Ps glad there are others starting to feel huge and uncomfortable now and it's not just me!! Doing anything more than putting my feet up feels like a struggle!!

Hi I'm due 16th Feb!! This is my second baby, I have a DD who is 6. This little bundle of joy is a DS. Seeing some of you comment about only just completing on your properties and not being organised due to Christmas is making me feel so much better. I am not organised in the slightest due to Christmas taking up all of our excess money at the moment and having the loft converted too, my house has been as building site for about 6 weeks now which has wreaked havoc with my nesting urges!! I'm due to finish work the 19th Jan on two weeks holiday and then start my mat leave following on from that. I felt almost guilty when I decided to finish at 36 weeks like I was being weak but I'm so tired already, there's no way I'd make it to 38/39 weeks before finishing work.

Hi ladies, another one for 15th Feb here! First baby, feeling very real now...

We are also hoping to move before he comes, although realistically it’ll be after now.

I’m a teacher and hoping to limp on until 26th Jan. That feels sooo far away Confused

Thanks for starting this thread! I'm due with second baby on 24th Feb. DS1 will be 4 just 3 weeks later.

Totally with you all on really starting to feel very pregnant now, and everything starting to be hard work!!

Nice to have a new group, and to be able to share the joys and moans of the final few weeks of pregnancy! x
