*TMI warning* Piles...

Currently 39+5 and I've had some piles appear 2 days ago Sad

They're really sore and painful and I can't even sit properly in the bath. I've tried witch hazel and been putting it on for 5mins here and there through the day and made sure everything's clean etc but nothing is even easing the discomfort in any way...

I'm scared as I don't know what that means for labour. Will they make it worse/more painful? Or will it make them worse?

It's making me feel horrible and just feeling really low about my whole pregnancy body and symptoms in general and to add to it now I'll be having umpteen people looking "down there" and seeing them when I'm in labour Sad

Get Anusol in a chemist or if they're very sore go to gp to have something prescribed. Don't strain when pooing, avoid getting constipated and use a stool for your feet when sitting on the toilet. Pushing in labour can make them worse unfortunately. They can usually be treated or calm themselves within a few days/weeks of birth.

Get Lactulose and Fybogel and some hydrocortisone ointment for piles.

Get suppositories too as they get to the root of the problem.

Drink a lot more water. Be super patient on the loo and don't push at all. Really helped me.

It's pretty gross but... just push them back in Blush my mum told me to run a warm bath and every time you're washing down there just push them back in a little. It was sorted within about 3 days.
