Hi ladies,
I'm having a full meltdown here!!!
14 weeks on Monday with second baby. Not put on any weight but can see that pregnancy tummy appearing. My jeans still actually fasten but when sitting down especially if I've eaten. They become very snug. So apart from wearing leggings And jogging bottoms which I can wear for work thank god! 😓 I have no pants that fit me. 😔
Actually bought Maternity Jeggins from Topshop and they are like a dream! They are so comfy. In love with them. 😍

Just wondering when did you start buying and wearing maternity clothes? Especially interested in second time mums. As I know you show quicker second time round.
Xx

I'ma second time mum, 21 weeks pregnant and already huge! I've been in my maternity leggings since about 14ish weeks. I think it's normal :)

I'm pregnant for the second time and I was in my maternity jeans from around 5 weeks!

I just couldn't tolerate anything tight around my stomach and I figure I'll get my moneys worth! 😂

DC1 - suddenly had to race out and buy maternity clothes at 13w.

DC2 - wearing maternity clothes at home from 7w and the least maternity like ones at work from 10w. It was a relief to have the 12w scan, see all was well at that stage & start telling people and obviously wearing maternity clothes

First time mum - jeans stopped fitting around 14 weeks. I think I started showing (at least to me and my husband) around 11-12 weeks! I’m size 8 but stomach muscles not great 😬

I had to start wearing maternity jeans by 8 weeks second time around, my hips got wider that early and normal skinny jeans would not close. I still didn't look pregnant early, bearing in mind that I met people up until I was 38 weeks pregnant two weeks ago who didn't realise I was pregnant. By 28ish weeks I was wearing only leggings because even my maternity jeans were too tight on my hips.

I'm 28 weeks with #2 - I started wearing maternity jeans at 11 weeks this time. I carry like I have a basketball in front so I found it difficult to do up my jeans from quite early on.

I started wearing maternity jeans at about 6 weeks - my stomach ballooned really quickly. I'm 17 weeks now and half a stone lighter than I was pre-pregnancy but I feel huge this time around.

DC1 about 14 weeks.

DC2 dug my old maternity jeans and leggings out around 8 weeks, but tops are still ok at 14 weeks. I just look a bit podgy. In some clothes I don't look pg at all but I definitely have changed shape and I hate having anything tight around my middle.

First time mum and got 2 pairs of maternity jeans at about 9/10 weeks! The band was a bit big at first but I figured I'de need them eventually so why be uncomfortable and suffer for longer!

I am a bigger size and got away with my normal clothing up until 20-22 weeks. But then I usually wear longer tunics and dresses and high wasted trousers, so was easy to hide the bump for a bit.
I love the tighter fitted Jojo Maman dresses- as I can't wear them outside pregnancy thanks to my muffin tops etc. But now the bump is big and smooth, so the dresses look quite good, hahaha.

14 weeks with DC2 and been in maternity clothes (bar squeezing myself into work clothes 2 days a week) for a couple of weeks now. The difference is quite marked compared to DC1, looked back at old photos and I looked like this at about 20/21 weeks with her!

It’s my first pregnancy and I had to wear maternity trousers from week 12. I’m 22 now and people think I’m about to give birth - we are all different x

I think that's pretty on par with what's normal. I was in normal jeans until 16 weeks this time (my 2nd), but I was in maternity jeans and legging from 8 weeks with my first. I was so bloated and uncomfortable then.

It's so strange as this pregnancy is so different from last. I still can actually squeeze into my skinny jeans but they are uncomfortable especially after food. So haven't bothered with them.
Bought maternity jeans under the bump ones. Fitted like a glove in the shop wore them the next day and couldn't stop pulling them up all day!🙈

Going to have to buy some over the bump ones.
Any recommendations??
16 weeks on Monday. ☺️

H&M over bump and new look were good for me I never got on with under bump even in this 2nd pregnancy. Also at 36 weeks my maternity jeans are tight so living in 2 pack of black leggings from new look, 14 quid I think. I've finished work so for tops I'm living in dh tshirts or primark tops a size up. I only forked out on maternity jeans and trousers for work /smart.

I’ve got 2 pairs over the bump - one H&M one JoJo Maman, both off eBay about £10 each.
Not worn either yet but tried them on and they feel weird - going to wear the JoJo ones tomorrow so will let you know how I get on....got a feeling I’m going to be pulling them up a lot as they seem looose around the top but tight on my thighs & bum

Peacocks have a good range. Bought some leggings today and tried them on. They fitted nice and snug but not tight. They went over the bump nice but couldn't work out if they were over the bump or under the bump I just pulled them right up and they felt comfortable. They are nice as they are thick so got my works Christmas night out soon so going to wear them for that. Hopefully if they still feel comfy.

Think second time round is much more difficult regarding clothing.. It's all about comfort.
My only savior is I can wear stretchy pants for work and my tops are baggy. Altho think as time goes on my pants will be too tight on the tummy area and I will start to show in the t shirt. Going to give a few more weeks. Ha ha 😂. xx

I'm 11 weeks with DC2 and I'm already ready maternity clothes at home and lots of baggy stuff for work. I'm wearing a (non-maternity) wrap dress today and I think it looks really obvious that I'm pregnant but luckily no one has said anything yet.
