Baby's movements slowing down at 34 weeks

Hello! I'm currently 34+1wks and since Sunday have noticed a marked change in my baby's movements.

Previously, she would do very energetic, 'stabby' movements, and I'd see little jabby arms etc coming out from my belly.

But, since Sunday, while she has been moving just as much, the movements have been more languid, lazy and slow.

I went to the hospital for a check-up yesterday and they monitored the baby, checked heartbeat etc and say she seems fine, but have booked me in for a scan tomorrow just in case.

Has anyone else noticed a change in movements around this time? Have Googled this and checked my apps etc. but am looking for personal experiences.

I went in to be monitored at 32 weeks (due to reduced movements) and was told that babies movements will change but the frequency should stay the same.
Currently 34 weeks and I'm finding more rolling type movements than stabby this week

Yes! That's totally what mine is like too - like rolling and lucid swimmy movements, if that makes sense? Rather than the quite violent jabs I was getting before.

Hello, no advice as it sounds like the hospital are keeping a good eye on you. But I just wanted to say hello as I'm 34+1 today too. Happy Christmas Day due date! Are you hoping to go early or late or not really mind the due date?
