Heavy spotting for 2 days whilst 6 weeks pregnant. Dull period pain like pain. Had checks and scan yesterday said no heartbeat but it is too early too tell for sure?! Has anyone else bled and it not ended up as miscarriage?

I bled more with my first (healthy) pregnancy than i did with my second pregnancy which turned out to be a MMC. It's impossible to say at this point and unfortunately it'll be a waiting game for you now. I wish you all the luck in the world.

I bled (red blood, less than a period but over a couple of days) at 7 weeks & am now 30 weeks. I was lucky enough to see very tiny heartbeats at 7 weeks: it must have been horrible not to at your scan, but 6 weeks is indeed early to see it. Have previously had bleeding at 5 weeks which was a mc - that was much more like a heavy period at that stage. It’s different for everyone, which isn’t much help.
Fingers crossed for you Flowers , it’s a miserable experience waiting - hope all works out OK.

I had a bleed early on, turns out it was a cervical polyp which they removed (painless) I did bleed a bit a month or so ago after sex which freaked me out but baby is still happy and healthy and due on Friday. Do check with your gp or epu if you have one close by and they can check you over, it's scary I know!

Thanks ladies for a bit of hope. Time will tell I guess. Feeling so anxious. X

1st pregnancy: slight spotting from 5 to 11 weeks, a lot of pain, carried to term.

2nd pregnancy: bright red bleeding started at 5-6 weeks and progressed to miscarriage. Absolutely no pain or discomfort at any stage.

3rd pregnancy: all sorts of bleeding from 8 to 18 weeks, no pain, carried to term. It was an incredibly anxious pregnancy but he is a 3 year old little beggar now.

Hope it all goes OK for you Flowers
