Hello beautiful mummy’s or mummy’s 2 be...

My fiancé and decided in September to try for a baby. (Our first)

I am now 11 Days late... I’m on my 38 day of this cycle and I’m normally only 27!!

I have been feeling sick at the back of my throat for a week and my nipples are more sensitive.

I must have done 10+ dip test pregnancy tests and they have all been negative.

My mum has said to get a clear blue and get a blood test, I don’t want to waste the Doctors time and had time off work.

I really just want to know what my body is doing!!

Any suggestions?
Thankyou
Xxxxx

I think you would be getting a positive if you’re 11 days late. When my DH and I decided to start ttc, my cycles suddenly went completely haywire and didn’t settle for over 6 months. Could have been a coincidence but also could have been the stress even though I didn’t feel stressed at the time. It’s such a huge life changing decision to make, and so many things can mess up your cycles.

I would see a doctor though, I think 11 days late is late enough to justify a visit Smile

Thankyou so much
I have no signs of my normal period coming on.
It’s so so strange. I am getting cravings or is that too soon??
I will get booked in to the doctors to see what’s going on and get a blood test done

I doubt a doctor will do a blood test, they just use the normal cheapo tests. Try Again in a few days, you may have ovulated later than you think.

When I came off the pill, after being on it since I was 16 (now age 29 and 21wks pg) it took me 11 months to conceive and period was late and all over the place to begin with. Just my body getting back to normal after being on it for so long.

I only ever used clearblue tests when testing.

Fingers crossed for u though 🤞

Thankyou teabagfreak....
I called the doctors and he said they won’t investigate me not having period until I’m 6 months late.
I have just done a clear blue and it’s come back negative...
I have being putting myself under lots of stress as I miscarried 3 years ago and it brought back a lot for me.
Well it just means that we will have to have more time trying 😊

@MrsRalph When trying we were also in process of buying a house and i never got period for 2 months and it was negative, I put it down to stress of moving. I think it’s true what they say... the harder u try the harder it is, as when I took my mind off it in May/June this year as I had a lot going on it seemed to happen, no calculating or anything so anything is possible, just relax and enjoy 😊
