Bleeding and cramping at 6 weeks - help!

Hi ladies Star

I’m looking for advice, reassurance, experience - anything! I’m driving myself mad!
Had a miscarriage at 7+2 in July, but that pregnancy had started with bleeding and bled throughout until I had an U/S Showing nothing there and negative test.
This is the first time I’ve been pregnant since, and we don’t have any kids.
I found out I was pregnant bang on the day my period was due abs I’m rarely late so found out at 4+0, and definitely felt pregnant - sore boobs, and much bigger than usual; I had to buy a bra to sleep in straight away. That settled over the next week or so.
I got to yesterday, 5+6 absolutely fine, but yesterday started bleeding. I’ve already got a scan booked at 6+6 (Thursday coming) and phoned them to tell them but they won’t move it forward as they feel it won’t make anybody difference and won’t Ben able to see anything.

Today is what’s getting me. TMI on the way!! Blush it started as pink spotting, now it’s red. Still only on wiping but mixed with mucous (yuk!) I’ve only needed 2x those really thin daily pads. But I’m cramping on and off. Not all day but when it comes it’s really sore. The cramping doesn’t make any difference to the bleeding, and settles with paracetamol. When I spoke to EPAU they said it was likely an implantation bleed.
I’ve started feeling sick today which is new.

So - anyone had an implantation bleed like this? Or similar symptoms and gone on to a good outcome?! Help please!!

Feeling sick is a good thing.

Hope it turns out well for you.

The waiting is horrible.

I've bled in both pregnancies at around 6/7 weeks. First one was a miscarriage and second one was god knows what and I'm 30 weeks pregnant now. I'm sorry this is happening to you. It's a waiting game I'm afraid.

Thanks ladies, just knowing that someone knows and has been in the same situation really helps.
If anything the pain and bleeding are a bit less this evening keeping my fingers crossed!

@thingymaboob were you sore when you bled? X

The waiting is horrendous but like PP said I think their logic is the longer you wait, the more of a definitive answer you'll get either way. The only other option is a private scan but obviously that costs money and you're still so early it could cause more stress due to the lack of answers.
So sorry this is happening to you, early pregnancy is terrifying but so many ladies do have bleeding and it turns out ok. Good luck x

@Giantgiraffe I was not sore when the bleeding started but with my miscarriage, I did get pain when it became very heavy after about a week of light pink / brown spotting. Wish you all the best!

Hi @giantgiraffe

I’m currently in a similar position. Found out I was pregnant a few days before period was due. Now 5+5wks. Started bleeding brown blood on Thursday evening which turned red on Friday. Bleeding has increased with clots and on/off cramps. Very period like. Mostly bleeding on wiping, not really making to pad - but wiped blood is heavy.

I’m fearing the worse. Scan not organised for another 10 days.

Suffered MMC back in February, and we have been constantly TTC since. Desperate for a miracle.

Fingers crossed for both of us. xxx

@pineappleprincess - your story is exactly the same as mine, I’m just a few days ahead of you. This feels different to my MMC in July somehow, I definitely had more symptoms this time but not sure if they’re as bad now. Just have to keep our fingers crossed. Keep me posted and good luck x

Just thought I'd update. Bleeding and cramping got pretty bad, passed a clot yesterday but it's much more settled today. No pain, bleeding like light period. Thought maybe that was me all over and done with but checked a test and it's still positive.
Not hugely hopeful for Thursday but keeping my fingers crossed x

So sorry OP. The waiting feels like forever, doesn't it. I had a bleed at 5 weeks and a scan a week later revealed that everything was okay. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Flowers

Got my scan tomorrow so have my fingers crossed. The bleeding is settling but my pregnancy test isn’t as thick a line as it was, though still positive. Not feeling optimistic 😣😣

@Giantgiraffe, how did it go? I'm in the same situation as you, really scared I'm miscarrying. I have a scan tomorrow but no idea what to expect.

I hope you have a happy result Flowers
