I came across a vile of EPO in boots the other week and decided to research. Discovered it's used for massage to help prevent tearing. Which sounds great.

Also came across information about EPO capsules that woman take orally and internally to help soften the cervix. Apparently this can be done from 34+ weeks as it doesn't induce you, just gets your body ready. There are some people out there that believe it made their labor shorter.

I've started using EPO for massage down below and across my belly. But I'm keen to use the capsules too - I've Googled and found them in stores but no where says if there internal or external. My question is can you use any capsules for taking orally and internally? Has anyone used this?

I've read about it being used for massage, and also being taken in capsule form both orally and internally.

I used it for a week, went into labour at 39 weeks and 3 hours later I had a lovely baby.

Could have just been a coincidence as a lot of people say it does nothing, but it seemed to work for me. I just took them orally.

Thank you. Feel comfortable taking them orally as they are intended, the internal thing just baffled (but intrigued) me!
