I cannot decide to buy 'The Bump Kit' by Seraphine or not.

In my last pregnancy I felt so yuck and swollen and I just wore oversized baggy clothes and felt like a potato. This time I want to feel a bit more chic.

Has anyone bought 'The bump kit' before? What did you think?

At first I thought it was way overpriced, but I assume it's well made due to the price and I can pair with jackets and different boots to change the style.

I reckon that's overpriced for basics you'll get bored of quickly and need to add lots to anyway... I like seraphine but I'd buy nice things from there and basics cheaper elsewhere. H and M are always good for maternity leggings, vests, etc. This time I've also bought a few things on Facebook settling groups as they'll only be worn for a few months and I resent paying hundreds of pounds for clothes I'll want to get rid of...

My mum bought me the set. Better quality than the bits from h and m I have. Very good leggings and I have had a lot of compliments on my wrap dress. This is my first so plan to keep it all to rent wear if/when I have a second. It isn't enough on its own though so depends how much you want to spend.

Looks good value, I wish I’d seen this moths ago! Also when I click on the link it comes up with a code for 15% off

Thanks for your thoughts :-)
I'm still unsure! I do want to buy it but the price!!
Fredthefrog I'm so glad you said it's better quality than h&m. I hate thin leggings.

I have quite a few bits from Seraphine and have found them to be really good quality and they wash well. Unfortunately I was pregnant during the summer the first time around and am now pregnant during the winter but I am still wearing quite a few bits from last time so they seem to last. I haven't bought one of the bump kits but they seem like good value!

I have been a bit disappointed by Serafine. The last few things I got from them were really over priced and not great quality. Asos are pretty good? As is TopShop?

I went for a whole maternity wardrobe in the end as I couldn't face the idea of slobbing around in clothing that was too right. No regrets.

I got a few Seraphine things second hand and nearly new via eBay. They were all good quality I just didn't want to pay the full price.

I looked at the bump kit but it felt expensive for what you actually got in it so I didn't go for it - but I'm self conscious in leggings and if I could have worn just leggings and a top that probably would have given more options.

I have it and it's fantastic quality, all really soft and comfortable.

I have some Seraphine leggings and jeans. Far better quality than everything else I found. Topshop & H&M quality was shocking, especially Topshop considering the jeans are not much cheaper than Seraphine's.
The leggings I have were only £15 and AMAZING - so soft, comfy and not at all see through.

If you think you'll wear the whole kit go for it and enjoy, but if you think you'll only wear a couple items regularly maybe just buy what you need?

Although I didn't buy the Seraphine bump kit I did buy a couple of dresses.

Like you OP with my first pregnancy I just wore baggy clothing & didn't invest to much in maternity wear, so wanted a couple of nice bits this time around!

Would definitely recommend seraphine as dresses were brilliant quality & seen me right through my pregnancy & Everyone always commented on how nice they were when I wore them.

What size are you prepregnancy OP? I was a size 12 and found Seraphine didn’t suit me at all. I tried several times with online ordering and going into their stores but nothing made me look glam - just fat and trying too hard.

I love the ASOS range. Cheap, yes, but it does last and quite flattering.

But you can always order online with free returns and give it a go!

A few of you have suggested ASOS. I will check them out. I don't want to spend a fortune though. That's what drew me to the bump kit as I thought I could make a few outfits out of the kit basics. I'm glad they are good quality..
I had H&m leggings last time but they are so thin, more like thick tights.

Urgg why is maternity wear more expensive. It's like when wedding items are marked up in price simply because it's wedding related.
