Hello!
How is everyone today? Hope better than me, I had an awful night and feeling down today, went to the loo this morning at work and ended up crying because of anxiety sad
After 2 hours awake during the night, I managed to fall asleep just to dream I was going through a MC and partner seem like not worried at all sad

Havent felt mini me so much today , so that's even making me more worried , but i know it can happen.

Second time i dream about MC as I'm dreading to go through one and feel dissappointed with myself

Roll on Saturday just want to see mini me jumping around tho not that much as DH wants to know about the gender

Oh Daisyland that's so sad. I hope you're starting to feel better.
I never used to dream much at all really but now I have really odd dreams. Mostly they're a bit like the a psychedelic load of patterns etc. that makes me wake up feeling really sick! Only had one frightening one but it left me feeling rubbish for about 3 days.

Hope you start to feel better soon. I'm not due until 24th April so I've got to wait until December 8th to see my little one again. It's making me nervous too. I think (well, I hope) that this is just a normal part of pregnancy. I've never been anxious before!

Oh @DaisyLand 😞 it’s not long till Saturday now and I’m sure your little mini will be wriggling about waving etc. Try not to worry nightmares and over active imagination are one of the not very nice side affects of pregnancy too. Very vivid dreams. Try not to worry sending hugs 🤗

Hello everyone. How are you all doing? I had my 16 week midwife appointment yesterday and got to hear the baby's heartbeat which was amazing 😍I'm 17 weeks today and still haven't felt anything yet, the midwife said I should do in the next week or so? Anyone else felt flutters yet? Xx

@charlie6092 I've been feeling peanut for a few weeks now...more so the last 2 weeks. I'm 16+2. This is my 4th baby though and apparently my midwife says I'm very in tune with my uterus lol

@DaisyLand sending hugs. You will feel so much better after Saturday. The 'what if' stuff is beyond horrible Flowers

Don't be sorry for the way you feel. Anxiety is horrible at the best of times and being pregnant makes it a 100 times worse so everything you're feeling is completely normal. I hope your appointment puts your mind at rest and you can start enjoying your pregnancy and preparing to meet your little bundle of joy x

I too know how anxiety can completely destroy rational thought. Keep coming on here and we will support you Flowers

@charlie iv been feeling them on and off for last week or two. This is my fourth pregnancy though and it’s twins so they are more squashed already 😂
With my first I didn’t feel her till 18 weeks. My second was about 16 xx

I'm hoping I will start to feel something in the next week ☺xx

Charlie-with my first I didn’t feel anything for most of the pregnancy (only felt movementbabout 5 times!) as I had a completely covering anterior placenta which I also have this time. You’ll probably feel something soon but if you have an anterior placenta you may feel it later.

I’m still wondering when I’m going to get a bump! Last time it wasn’t until over 20 weeks but I was hoping for something by now as it all still feels surreal!

Hi all - due end of April with baby number 3!
Been so fortunate that I stopped being sick just over two weeks ago! Currently taking cyclizine but only one tablet a day now!

Been having this really strange dragging type pain (it’s not really a pain just uncomfortable) which is worse when I walk or stand - midwife said this is normal with 3rd pregnancies and it can happen - anyone else had this?

Currently trying to eat my tea, I am hungry but when it comes to eating it I just feel sick and have to force myself to swallow. Getting sick of it now because I know in about half an hour I’ll be hungry again and reaching for snacks!

Hope all your pregnancies are going well so far!

Made it over to the new thread!

I've got my 16week midwife appointment next week, she said last time we would start listening in on baby so hopefully I'll get to hear it again!

I've not felt any movement yet, I think I felt a flutter the other day though, which was lovely!

Hi all. I'm due 16th April. I'm 15+2 and all of a sudden my stomach is huge! Is that normal? Seems to have happened over night. Feels a lot like water retention and fluid

Hello all... @daisyland I totally understand the anxiety... I worry constantly... I'm not really feeling anything yet... nothing I c be sure isn't just wind anyway! lol. I have a gender scan on Sunday and hoping that will help but just keep imagining they won't see a heartbeat. I'm driving myself mad! I'm sure all is fine really.

Hello everyone! I'm feeling exactly the same. No sleep last night because even with my pregnancy pillow I couldn't get comfortable, I had a horrible migraine again, and I kept having to climb out of bed to go to the bathroom which is getting harder because it is quite high off the ground (the bed, not the bathroom!) Also I kept thinking I have hurt the baby somehow (sleeping in the wrong position, carrying a heavy backpack, taking Paracetamol, drinking caffeine) even though I know it's irrational. If I do sleep I have nightmares about the next scan. I THINK I can feel the baby moving about so hopefully that's a sign that all is well. Anyway it makes me feel better knowing that all these feelings are normal! Hope it gets better for all of us x

I didn't sleep last night either. I had my flu and whooping cough injections yesterday and both arms are beyond painful so I couldn't get comfy and today I feel like I've been run over by a bus! Just when I thought I was going to drop off I needed another pee...feel like a zombie today! 😴

Rae2017 seems like it could be normal. Sometimes bumps just pop, some will look bigger or smaller at different times of day or if it's a subsequent pregnancy...

I've not got my 16 week appointment booked in yet Hmm. I gave my due date to my midwife two weeks ago and haven't heard a dickie bird.

Started to feel movements this week - very tiny kicks and side to side movements. I expected to feel it much earlier as felt DS move at 13 weeks, so am a little disappointed about that.

Report
emvy · 27/10/2017 18:55

I'm relieved to read I'm not the only one not feeling movements yet! I was getting a little worried although I'm only 16 weeks today so I know it's super early but it seemed like loads of people could feel movements and I couldn't! It is my first pregnancy in which I've got this far so that may explain why.

Rae, my bump has really popped this week as well. Mine can sometimes feel more bloated than others but it tends to stay about the same size. It's the only thing reassuring me my baby is still growing in there!

LON, sorry you're still struggling with morning sickness. I hated feeling like that! It really is horrid.

Daisy, this is why we're here - through the wobbles and the ups! I have horrid vivid scan dreams as well and it's horrible not being able to deal with anxiety when it comes out as dreams isn't it?!

Mini, hope you get your appointment through soon. I had to ring and book mine directly with my surgery, I'm guessing yours is different?

Hello all!

Hope you are well? Found the new thread!

I have been having a hellish time of it with sickness (still) and broke down today.

Then after calming down, a cheese sandwich and watching the sky change, I was lying on the sofa, legs up, on my back (not sure I'm supposed to?) played some music and I am certain the little one is moving. I am sure there was a whole lot of fluttering!!

Is it too early!? I'm only 14 weeks.. but small framed.. first baby..

Feeling very differently now Smile

Xx

Hello !

How is the weekend going ? We had the private scan ! I was so relieved ! Baby seems so happy in there that refused to move at all ! Had to go to the loo, cough , move and baby refused to move ! Heard heartbeat for 1dt time ! I love that sound ! Also were told the gender , now need to think how announce it as I didn’t even want to know myself !

Have a good day April ladies !

That’s brilliant, Daisy! When we found out the sex we just said at the same time as telling people I was pregnant. I love being able to say, ‘he’ instead of ‘it’ :-)
